wolfie are you interested in riding or going out on a date ?
Just being a mate in true OB fashion I would say Aido.
Welcome mate. You will be used to the climate in Penrith after living in Townsville. You have landed in the NSW hotspot for dirt bike riding and could possibily ride every weekend if you can.
See you on a ride someday

One 2012 resolution is a Murphsberg ride. :silly: Great pics and terrain lads.

They were part of the arvo grade 3 ride. You are right Jeffro. The lads picked some awesome tracks to treat you guys to for the B’day ride. I hope they only brought back good memories?

Mal 5.1Some of my pics
Mal5.1, great footage and a top effort to edit and upload them. It is great reliving the ride from your vids.
Part 5 had you huffing and puffing up Heart break Hill at the end of the vid. Top effort to do the log jump and get the GASGAS 300 turned for the corner. It did sound like the laugh of a beaten man as you fell off the GASGAS 300. As KTMKIM said “the best was saved till last”

Bob, We could travel together if you like and go inland. May have to swing a whistle stop family weekend to get there but the distance V’s time will be the deciding factor for that to happen.
I am still TBC Ev and am slowly moving my Queen to check mate the King!

Clearly whats sticks out for me in both of this vids is the dominance of the 2T over the 4T. You gave Clarky a head start at the end of Part 1 and early in the piece of part 2 with the race up Mick’s Hill the 2T smoked em. No footage of the 4T getting to the top of Galey’s!
What is the best tyre for Sunny? Slippery clay , tyre munching rocky climbs, greasy tree root infested single tracks!
I do like the part 1 vid where you give Clarky a demo in the art of kick starting a GASGAS 300 at 1:38 .
Mal, obs you were taking it easy as you were still getting over the Coffs ride, you made a bad rear tyre choice, your sprockets and chain were past their best and you are still getting back to full fitness. Have I got everything?
Cheers for taking out my mishaps!
And you should know by now not to get to close to the rear of Marty400’s bike, esp on the fire trails! 👿
Actually mate you were my first choice rider. I needed a pro for the rest to pick up some tips from.
Great day mate. Top conditions with rain leading into the hours before the ride.
I have been hanging out for your vids more than Christmas. Sweating on the rest buddy.
The lads on KTM 450’s that I ride with run 14-51 or 52. They seem to be happy with that.
Great reading lads.
The dets sound good. Ev , what is your rear tyre of choice for the slick singles, rocky climbs and deep creek crossings? Looks like the stack of half worn tyres wont get a run for this sweet weekend.
BellingenEv wrote:Anyone keen for a grade5 australia day weekend?
Based in bellingen, riding 3 or 4 days including the lowanna ride on the sat.
All rides except the lowanna one will be grade 5 (plenty of hills).
Will sort out details later , if people are keen.
cheers evEv, are we close to confirming this ride and supplying dets? I like to go into battle for my ride passes with as much ammo as possible.
Cheers
Ev , I am expressing my interest in this ride.

2:08 that looks like a nice log jump lads! Abit easier to do than on the tractor!
Close call for the turkey.
Good vid lads
