Just a yep or photos?
I think Mickp has got more to worry about me than me worrying about him. Every time I walk into his garage the bike is apart.
Yeh, my wife ventured into the garage the other day (she must have been bored) and said didn’t you do all that work on yer bike last year??? yep I said , but we are a long way from home on the trip and far from help a lot of the time and I wanna try and make sure everything is OK since the bike has done 10,000k’s since last years ride. She turned around and went back in the house
Problems I have found:
rusty water in double sealed front wheel bearings that I packed with grease
crack in pannier frame – repaired and rack strengthened (jumping windrows fully loaded probably didn’t help)
rear shock bottom heim joint (bearing) stuffed – waiting on new one (last one KTM had in stock)She should be back together in a few days and ready to go
Mick
Which KTM do you have Mickp?

Short enduro or long sprint? How long are the laps and how many of them. What class are you entering Medog? Clubman 35’s. Where is our best chance for a trophy? Good chance to see how slow I am!
I have been devising a cunning plan in my head to get some entry fee sponsorship from Great Westerns in return for the Heavily Blinged Up Jackaroo signage and the”I’d like to thank……..” part when I receive my trophy.

Ride report thread to be started.
We were riding at 8:30 TB . Glad you stopped in.
sorry to have missed the adv gang.
must have been an awesome experience Lefty. Those GTR’s must have passed you a few times and a fair bit quicker as well. Your crash was a highlight for years
I was at the finish of that race and witnessed the Nissan pit crew sticking it into the crowd opposite the track when they were awarded the victory. Not sure what they did to get that reaction but the end result was alot of heckling and jeering towards Richards and Skaife on the podium. Maybe they thought Johnson/Bowe ,from memory ,should have been declared the winners.
This is my version of why Jim Richards called me an asshole!
Just my opinion.
