Clarky , A nice fresh Metzler MC4 is gracing the rear of the Chainsaw ready to christen Marty400 or should I now say 450, new blinged up ride. Weather report is good ,just need to pack the Bundys and swag and head North on the weekend.

I’m hoping to be in front of Marty450 at a nice goopy bog with those Watos leeches in it and giving Marty450 a shower 👿

    Bring it! :woohoo:

Top stuff Mal5.1 “can ride”. Excellent quality vids. If I knew you were filming then i may have turned the wick up a little….but the last time I did that …well you saw the evidence of that! May have to get a cam one day! I liked the positioning but Yes a little higher may be better.

I had to laugh  at the way you tackled those downed trees…I swear you nearly got bucked off once or twice. :woohoo: How was that high speed run!! I saw a dollar 34 before that fox/dog/Yowie thing spooked me, and you kept in it! Who’s idea was it to fill our guts with those burgers anyway? Those rocks felt a little bigger on the return run.
I did laugh going up Slate Hill those times where the sweeps on the ride out from the OB Capertee ride got stuck. Easy done .No names as I would only be guessing.

I reckon we should do a similar thing with the OBT gang after your knee op. Maybe a tad longer and harder with some woose cuts if you need them. Stay tuned.

    Cheers

Thanks KING STM. I’ll look it that link. I’m going to buy a decent program this week to do better quality videos.

A couple of tips for windows movie maker.

1-If you run vista you have to convert your mp4 files to avi files. I used this free program

    http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MP4Cam2AVI.htm

It keeps the orginal mp4 files and makes new avi files.

2 – If you run Windows 7 you need to download the latest version of windows live which will allow you to edit mp4 files. (thanks to Chris72a for that tip)

I find movie maker on vista a bit unstable and it doesn’t like large projects.

What programs does everyone else use?

Yeah Mal 5.1 I thought the quality was a bit off also.In the first vid it looked like your GasGas EC300 Christophe Nambotin  was being outrun by a KTM300! 👿

G’day Galey, bit hard to know for sure. After looking at all the photos there’s bracken on a right hander coming up a rise. I’ve come through it reasonably quick (ok much quicker than usual) and eyes widened a little when the next thing was this pathetic branch. Instinct touched the brakes. I remember trying to do the usual “use it as a jump” trick but I think the weighting was all wrong. Next thing I know I was looking at the ground. Mate behind said I pretty much hand-standed into the ground.
I’m pretty sure the clincher was my camera and GPS hanging off my backpack strap right where the collarbone is. I no longer keep anything in that area anymore….

Everytime I look at the photos it gets me so pi*&ed off. Pathetic stack considering but hey, when it all goes wrong, it all goes wrong.

Axel, Have you checked the loose nut behind the handlebars? I figured the same things was at fault for Micks big one and also my ejector seat issue. ;)

    Kram B)

Here’s a log I’d rather never see again and you guys can do without. Found some pics on my bike camera the other day. This one cost me nearly 2 years off the bike.
I go over logs real slow now. Real slow and steady.

Been meaning to see a WRC one day. It’s a reasonable drive for me but I might be able to see some relos up there to justify the trip too. I’ll put that weekend in my Calendar.
