Just got back from my local bike shop and they have the GoPro Hero 3 silver editions in stock.
Just following the spot. Looks good so far. I wish I was on this one but had already signed up for a pushy ride tomorrow.
Nato if you have a windows based PC then check out something like Adobe Premier Elements 11. This is supposed to be very similar to use to iMovie. Adobe usually do free trials.

or you could try Sony Vegas Pro.

If you’re not a Mac user than don’t go buy one just for iMovie as it’s really a very basic program with for cutting video together but both the programs above will also do that and have more editing features.
I’m a Mac user and currently using iMovie but I’m already looking for something better to edit videos. I can tell you all those awesome promotional videos put together by Gopro and other camera companies would not have been done on iMovie.

TB
Come on TB whats this slanging off at ADV riders? and I dare you to make that comment to Jason Barrett.
At this stage I have Saturday off but due to be at work 6am Sunday. I may still come up and do a sprint home Saturday night but would prefer to stay for the shenanigans.
I’m keen for this ride but don’t pencil me in just yet. I will need to attempt some shift shuffling at work before I get to sample the best of the beautiful north coast.
I’ll shout the latte’s if I can pull it off.
Moto I just go to file – import – movies then select the file from where I stored it. I store files in iPhoto, Aperture 3 and on the desktop and all import fine this way. If thats not working then I got nothin, sorry.
Rest up Wolfie and get that good woman of yours waiting on you hand and foot.
Like most men I’m not a fan of doctors but I was required to have a work related blood test recently, (f*ck I hate junkies) and I got the doc to do the works while he as at it. Sounded like a good idea at the time until they started taking multiple vials of blood. The good news is I got the all clear, even recons my cholesterol is in check. But like most I could afford to drop a few kilos.
So looking forward to Dakar this year. I’m with you Eage’s, Despres and Coma will be hard to beat as usual I’m sure the HRC team will give it a good shake and claim the odd stage win.
I’ll be rooting for Ozzie Matt Fish. 8th outright at Morocca is a good start for his first hit out on the factory Husky.

I particularly like the tree mount.
After my second Olympus tough has died do you recommend the Nikon? If you give it the thumbs up I will grab one this weekend.STM
I just knocked up a quick review.
Iva wrote:Nice editing Scotty, what video editing package do you use?Put together on iMovie Iva which is pretty simple to use although I’d had a few drinks last night and forgot to add some music to the clip. Didn’t realise till it was uploaded.
Check out some of my high tech mounting options. It was a big budget production.
Pillion peg mount.
Bashplate mount.
Tree mount.
Rear guard mount.
Some good vids of some awsome county. The only thing missing is the BRP in its natural habitat. Will have to do a rerun.
Have you seen Westy’s KTM300 advertised for sale. Very clean looking piece of kit.
Nice vids Jeffro. It’s always fun exploring new trails. Did you use different setting on the gopro for the first vid it appears to have a different ratio to the second one.
Its interesting you used your Tough camera for second shots. I did the same thing today with my Nikon Aw 100 (Nikons answer to Olympus Tough series). I am editing vids now and will upload tomorrow.
F*#K Westy, If I had some spare coin I would be on that like a fat kid on a cup cake.
Hope ya find a 450 that clean. On mountain bike yes but unfortunately on a moto no. It would make a good loop but there is a larger gate where the coach road come off the Gloworn Tunel Rd and no vehicle access.
