If I remember correctly Ossa Di 2T has two injectors. Would it be possible to have one injector feeding oil into the bottom end with the air and lubricating as per normal with only the fuel being direct injected into the combustion chamber?

Got out this afternoon for some fast fire trail blasting on the Husky. Big torquey feet up drifts where the order of the day. :)

I didn’t read the article as I’m just baout to jump on the train home. I did notice it said it will inject the fuel late in the cylcle when the exhaust port is blocked. If this is the case and with the fuel inection being electronically controlled why bother with the expansion chamber?

You shouldn’t need to scavenge the fuel as it’s DI and the sonic return wave in the chamber will only ram exhausted gas back into the cylinder on the compression stroke before the port closes

It may not have a chamber. Don’t go of the photo in the article this is a photoshop mock up by Cycleworld and not a picture from Husqvarna. Be interesting to see.

Can someone also explain to me (I am a tech retard), if the fuel is now injected into the cylinder how is the bottom end lubricated? Will it be like a 4T with an oil pump?

Even an enduro gun can appreciate adventure riding.

Its about time you came out and admitted you love yellow Menace.

The new bergs look good. The 300 is the pick for me.

I gotta ask the question though, now that it appears Husaberg no longer has any real technical input into the bikes (Forks and different plastics, big deal) is there any real point in KTM continuing the Husaberg line?

Ive always had a thing for the F800GS. Would love the chance for spin on one to see if they are worth the cash. I believe I even have the weekend of 11-12th off.

2 CHICS, 1 TENT!!!! This will be the best ride report EVER!!!! Looking forward to it. Ride safe girls and have the time of your lives.

Once apon a time the gayest thing on this forum was a fat bloke in a poker dot jersey. Now we have ADV riders in dresses and enduro riders with pink helmets. What next,

Nah, I like a loud helmet. I was looking for an ADV style helmet the other day and they all seem to come in either white or black. Boring as bat shit  . Maybe I’ll have to look into a custom paint job. :)

Epic ride, looking forward to the report and photos. Looking at the map I recon once in WA if it was me I couldn’t resist doing the extra km and heading all the way to Broome to make it an East to West coast ride.

Im on annual leave in September although I will be in Fiji till the 12th. If the date is after this I could be a starter.

Just looking at your list Jeffro and although I can’t speak for Minusone, I think he is currently sporting a badly broken leg.
