i guess it means the subaru may have been at fault

No, it just means the Subaru driver was involved in the incident and police will need to get his/her full version of the events so the coroner has all the information he needs to determine the bike riders cause of death.

Well I was going great before Christmas. I was down to 94kg and felling fit. On the 23rd Dec I had a small incident on my mountain bike leaving me with a fractured radius in my right arm.

Over eating over christmas, my inability to exersize due to my arm and the use of bourbon as a pain killer has me back up to 99kg.

Arms now getting better and I’m back on my mountain bike this week so i’m back into it and the kg’s should fall off in no time.

If you have a look at freeze frame around the 7 to 8 secs just after he has been ejected you will see some parts flying off the rear of the bike , I think there has been a mechanical failure of some sort prior to the jump, this is of course no PDS problem, but a failure of some sort……..I suppose thats what happens when you go fast…..you dont really expect that to happen when you ride a banana like JAK :P :P :P :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Hahahaha, this response is nearly as funny as the video. The only thing flying off the bike is grass and the poor unsuspecting rider.

Lets see how many other KTM riders can come up with a sad exuse.

Personally unless I get a look at the face of that jump I’m just going to put this down to rider error.

Although as for PDS I recently heard it is also responsible for global warming, ;)

Just last night I myself found myself pissed off with a fellow dirt biker. Some f#*kwit on a WR450 with a load pipe decided at about 8pm it was a good time to do wheelies up and down my street.

Now im a dirtbiker and i appreciate a good wheely as much as the next bloke (and these were good 200m plus wheelies). But if he come past one more time and I would have thrown a brick at him.

Now imagine what the rest of my non-dirtbiking neighbours were thinking. The rest of us end up tared with the same brush.

Nice ride Mal. I had a good look at one of these at the bike show. If I had the spare coin there would be one in my shed.

Good to see ya gettin a chance kick back Eagle.

I was ment to work right through christmas including chrissy and now years eve with only my normal days off.

I had planned to get in a few mountain bike rides on my days off so last Wednesday I set about giving the bike a good service including bleeding the brakes.

Took the bike out the front of home on the road for a bit of a test ride and was doing some wheelies and stoppies testing the brakes. I found out real fast the front brake was working just fine as I went flying over the handle bars onto the road.

As a result I have fractured the radius on my right arm up near the elbow and i’m now off work till the 18th January.

    Bottoms up it’s beer time.

Sounds good, you can put me and Fiona on the list but like Mal shifts may be an issue for me. Although im off work till at least the 18th Jan will a busted arm then will be on restricted day shifts till it mends.

There has been a new member added to the K9 sector of Old Bulls. This is Billie, she is 8 weeks old and already a terror.

I can still hear the Husky grinding on the tar. :S

Mick, Tiny’s Motard moment was on the Zig zag to Hillend ride. The Zig zag to Orange ride was a prior ride the basards did without us. Think its about time it was put on again. Just make sure it’s a time I can attend.

If ya wanted a new cricket pitch or footy oval they would be tripping over themselves to help.

in reply to: What’s wrong with Honda? #164855

Are Moto you are a shit stirer. I think you find when it comes to Honda they know how to sell a product and your argument shows they don’t have to throw big dollars at racing to do it.

Yes KTM sell more enduro bikes here in OZ the Honda, but they have a least 8 enduro models to Honda’s 2. If ya look at the so called premier class the 450’s, the CRF450 outsells the KTM450 even though it has’nt won shit all enduro wise. Imagine if Honda through a race budget at it.

Honda are about profit and they know the money at the moment is in the US MX and sport bike market. I’ll bet in the profit race no other company gets near them.

And no im not a Honda or KTM lover just an outside observer who has never seen Broke Back Mountain.

What was the cost of the radiator gaurds M8?

Fester Suttos are able to get a couple different brands of gaurds, I got Force ones, they fit great and offer plenty of protection. Anodises black too so look good.

Give Mal a call for a price he does great deals for old bulls. I don’t want to put up a price and have people ringing him demanding the same deal but im sure he will look after you.
