Just keep pulling shit off Boony and she’ll feel like a 125MXer in no time.
Here’s my progress so far, havn’t taken her for a test ride yet but with the weight removed and the open pipe she should handle and sound sweet.
Land mines! I guessing your not talking about the type the dog leaves in the backyard.
And corrupt police, surely not.
Could even go for a ride with the Khmer Rouge.
Sounds like an adventure.

I might sneak out Sun morning before I pick the kids up.
Jak mines got 5 grease nipples on the rear.
1 on top of the left swing arm pivot point.
1 on bottom of Right swing arm pivot point.
1 on top of swing arm in the middle just behind shock that does the rear Link bearing.
2 on top of the link itself that does the front and middle link bearings.
The only thing on the rear that doen’t have a greese nipple is the upper and lower shock mounts.
I’ve been wearing a set of these for about a year now. No major issues yet. The Buckles are plastic and I keep expecting them to brake but they havn’t yet.
The stitching around the buckles is starting to look stretched and only time will tell how long this lasts.
The metal toe plate on both boots is hammered which shows I have hit a few things with them. Only two weeks back I was up at Lidsdale and hit a tree a speed directly with my right foot. Hurt like hell, ripped my foot off the peg and speared me across the track into the bush. After the initial pain subsided with me limping and swearing on the side of the trail no further damage.
I also have a set of middle of the range Fox boots that I havn’t worn since getting these.
As the others have pointed out get the best boots you can afford. If these are all you can afford right now they will be way better than your road boots.
PS, mine also came with a free set of Sixsixone boot socks which have been great.
Does anybody know anything about the RRT unit. Very neat looking being intergrated into the triple clamp with a remote bar mounted adjuster. Not sure on pricing but according to their web site http://www.rttmotorsports.com there are two dealers in Australia.

Sorry admin before you cann this, I do have something half sensible to say–FOR CHRIST SAKE, BEFORE THESE FANDANGLED INVENTIONS WE DID PRETTY GOOD—KEEP THE FRONT WHEEL OFF THE GROUND AND THERE IS NO ISSUE. OOps I didn’t mean to yell, hope the missus didn;t freak
Jah Rasta
MurphMurph people used to say the same thing about disc brakes and mono shock suspensions with 300mm of travel but I bet you wouldn’t go back to drums and twin shocks. It’s just evolution of the sport.
Congrates on the new 300 when it comes moto, they do sound and smell sweet even if they are still orange.
As for the 450, if ya planning on getting rid of it, OB’s might not be the best place to advertise it after sprouting off a couple weeks back about how little maintenance you have done on it in the last 7500km’s,
Very interesting. Only this week I had one of those hero moments when I took the better half to lunch at our local pub and saw Jeff Leisk there having lunch with another guy.
Wish I’d a little sat closer now and listened into their conversation, may have been able to get a scoop,
This is becoming all to common. The banks official line that it is computer hacker that are getting into the system is BS. Most times your information is past on to fraud rings by company insiders. With the banks now having call centres would wide they are having trouble keeping track of who has access to our personal details and accounts.
Only this week I was invovled in an surveillance job were we managed to catch a group of these crooks in the act. They had netted over $950,000 in the past 2 years. This group had been recieving account information from a bank insider who, even with all the banks sercurity measures, has yet to be identified and is no dought still working for the bank.
Not much we can do to protect ourselves from this other to use a bank that will cover you against this kind of fraud.
Even if the Storm win on Sunday they will feel like losers when they relise they gotta get back on the team bus and head back to Melbourne.
Urban myth. By all means try it if you like but when your licence is suspended and registration cancelled don’t act surprised.
All lies. No way Moto is only 30, he looks shit loads older than that.
This morning I drove through Wiley Park and all the Arabs were out on their deck chairs enjoying the conditions.
Think ya better put me on the list for this one TB seeing I missed it last time.
