Axl which version Gopro 3 do you have, black, silver or white. Only the black will record above 30fps at 1080.

I have a black and record mostly at 1080/30fps. I use 60 fps sometimes but for me the files this creates are unnecassarily large unless you want slow motion.

Be aware some computers will have trouble playing back 1080/60fps due to not having enough processor power.

Not really surprising. Husaberg has been loosing its own identity for some time. In reality they only existed as a separate motorcycle company for 7 years. They started in 1988 and were purchased by KTM in 1995. Only hope Husqvarna can grow and prosper and stay somewhat individual. KTM should at least do a better job than BMW were doing.

Does this mean a postie bike that is even smaller, lighter and has smoother power would be the ultimate single track weapon. 👿 :P

I seen these iPhone covers the other day. I’m just about to update my phone might use my old iPhone 4S and try it out. Turns your iPhone into a 170 degree POV waterproof sports cam and apparently the iphone has image stabilisation but id have to look that up to confirm it. Could be interesting I may just order one for fun would be a handy waterproof case when I’m out on my kayak anyway. Of course no good if you ain’t got an iPhone. Just another option.

No that’s the KTM/Berg motor that will 99% be in 2014 models. That is a photoshopped 2013 Husaberg. The BMW (Chinese Kymco) motor is a dead concept. When he last of the 2013 models get built they will be gone.

A couple of people have asked so here is how my front mount was done. You may have to do some adapting to different helmets but it should work on most vented helmets.

I pulled the front vent area off the helmet and removed the centre section which just clips out.

I then used part of the front helmet mount kit, i also got one of these mount with my hero 3. i which I zip tied and hot glued from the inside of the vent with the mount sticking out though the hole.

Screwed the front vent back on and mounted the Gopro and its now solid as and out of the way. The added benefit is I can just see the red LED on the back off the camera which shows when the camera is recording.
