We at KTM formally decline our offer of ‘free’ bikes for your adventure. This decision was not made lightly. However the information we have received suggests that you may fail.

We feel by associating our product with you ‘Long Way Down’ Series may have adverse effect on sales of our adventure series of motorcycles

Once again, sorry your adventure can not take place. And thanks for thinking KTM. The worlds first choice for adventure.

    WTF!!

In his own way I think it is Champo’s way of recognising your epic adventure. Although I could be wrong and his meeting with Charlie Borman may have had an adverse reaction.

Hey Scotty, was the gully with the 4×4’s, the same one that Hilux was stuck on when we were on our way back from Hill End or was that what you call Boulder Hill?

    Good report BTW.

Boulder hill is the one where the hilux was stuck. If you think it was chopped up then you should see what the 4×4’s have done to it in the rain. The kind of damage that gets forest trails closed down. I won’t be going that way again for a while.

When Farrah Fawcett arrived at heaven, God granted her one wish. She wished for all children to be safe. So god killed Micheal Jackson.

Well for those going I have just been down the Sutto’s and spoken with Mal as he has helped with the route change down the Putty to Colo Heights, thanks Mal

I cant decide if I should fit my 17 or 30 litre fuel tank, I have never fitted the 30L before.

Chicken has his 24L, Boulder his big tank which I think is over 25L and as I said Crash has his 30L all ready fitted ready to go so there will be enough fuel for the couple with standard tanks

The ED 78 Bridgestone that has now done just under 800kms on the rear is still looking real good and will see the trip out..

Its all coming together I think we will stay at Farmers Arms Hotel in Bathurst
It has a nice snug bar complete with the old fridges behind the bar, roaring open fire etc.

I will organise the accommodation as normal

This Pub bring back a few good memories/hangovers. Used to be owned by a good friend of the family till a few years back. Think they may even still own it but lease it out.
