Mate as far as soft roaders go, I’m on my third Suzuki Grand Vitara. If your only doing rough forest roads they are great. If you doing sand driving they are awsome. Only reason ive uptraded is because the last 2 got writen off. 1996 model hail damaged. 2002 model became the victim of an asian women in a Nissan Patrol that couldn’t tell the difference between a red and green light. Loved that car to, had no plans of getting rid of it. 2.5 V6 towed bikes no probs

You can pick good one of these up for under 15k. If ya need more room you can get the bigger XL7 with 2.7 V6. Ask moose about those I’m sure he’s got one.

I got a great deal on a new 2008 model, 2.7 V6. Heaps of power and a bit bigger inside than the older model. Took it up to stockton beach over christmas and it made the beach feel like I was driving on the highway.

I wont be trading this one for a long time, I just gotta avoid those big 4×4’s that are being driven by people who should never have been given a licence.

Ollie, KTM have thing called PHDS which is progressive handlebar damping system (sit back and wait for the sh*t). It is basically different grades of rubber sandwhiched in between your bar clamps that softens the ride. The degree of ‘softness’ can be altered by changing the grade of rubber.

I’m sure there must be this sort of setup available for other bikes as an aftermarket kit.

I definately look at a set if I was going to buy a smoker :)

Moto I think this handle bar system is there on KTM’s to soften the blow when ya crack ya nuts on the bars after the PDS has bucked you over the front.

    Sorry you asked for it!

If they are lame enough to try and sue you, you try and do them for trespass saying you never gave them permission to ride there

    It’s like a big game…..but not really :(

Pretty hard to argue if ya made them sign a form. :)

Even then the penalty for tresspass is minimum and they will still have the right to sue. Aint lawers fucked things up for all.
