I put M12’s front and rear for the Hillend ride and on the hard pack which made up most of the ride they were very skatey. plenty of grip a the rocky hills but on the hard pack turns I was wishing I left the standard Bridgestone grippy’s on.

Went for a ride today out the stateforest near home which is more sand based with some muddy sections and had grip everywhere. On the sandy banked corner I could lay it in on entry and dump the clutch on exit and they would hook up.

I was having so much fun I keeped doing the same corners over and over. woohoo

So three years plus, no dented rims, whats the cost of new rims, no trail side stops, no tubes, no carrying all the stuff you have to carry

Was Crash running a mousse in the front on the Hillend ride, cause his wheel didn’t survive that one.

I have been thing about it for a while, now I see some cars have stickers on the rear window that says magic happens, now we know they is no magic, its just tricks so thats for that is for people that cant understand that there is no magic, or they dont like to swear because its really s*#t happens. After I thought about it Mick and went through all the facts I have come to the conclusion that S*#t has happened it your shed!

So in this case you should get a bumper sticker that says S*#t Happens!

    S#*t happens
    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

For other uses, see S#*t happens (disambiguation).
Look up shit happens in Wiktionary, the free dictionary.”S#*t happens” is a common slang phrase, used as a simple existential observation that life is full of imperfections, or “C’est la vie”. The phrase is an acknowledgment that bad things happen to people for no particular reason.[1]One minced oath form is “stuff happens”. Another minced oath form is “It happens”.

The origin or earliest use of the phrase is uncertain. In a review of a book of quotations, The New Yorker critic Louis Menand observed that it was “extremely interesting to know, for instance, that the phrase ‘S#*t happens’ was introduced to print by one Connie Eble, in a publication identified as UNC–CH Slang (presumably the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill), in 1983.”[2]In 1988, a man was charged with obscenity for displaying a bumper sticker with the phrase.[3] A fictitious explanation of the origin of this phrase occurs in the movie Forrest Gump. During his capricious run, Forrest unwittingly inspires two separate entrepreneurs to create Smiley Face/”Have a Nice Day” T-shirts and “S#*t Happens” bumper stickers.

The phrase has inspired a list of jokes on religious and philosophical views, disseminated widely on the Internet and sometimes known as the “S#*t List”. Various views (e.g., of Catholicism, Buddhism, existentialism, Communism, etc.) are summed up into variations on the phrase, for instance: “Judaism: Why does this s#*t always happen to us?”[4]

    There ya go

    TB

Then there’s the saying “shit don’t just happen, a*se holes make it”,

I have this 1948 model 210K machine and it’s a goer, like it was new but I dont know how to set the thread tensioner.
I unscrewed the knob and it sprung apart of course, so there seems to be a tric to putting it back so it works within proper tensioning range of 0-9.
I dont know if there is a spacer or what missing, maybe not, it all looks right.
I think it is just a setup procedure.

Any one able to advise please?

Mate my ex-wife Grandfather was a singer sewing machine mechanic. But seeing I rarely speak to her and he’s long past, I guess im no help. Although I know she had some old singer machines for sale.
