Same reason I won’t take some chicks out.
When he was a Kiwi he was not much chop. Now he is an Ozzie he is a legend.
Think with him riding for Ballards this year the offroad scene will be a bit like the Super X was with Chad Reed.
They would be DRZ400S, they come in blue and in some places also white, SM in black. With the E model being yellow and the KLX variant green about the only colous ya can’t get for a DRZ is orange or red. What sort of freak would want those colours anyway.
How much fun would it be being trailbike cop in San Franciso, I bet you would be able to get plenty of air time just riding around town. :woohoo:
pump up bovs, I went for a mountain bike ride in 40 degrees on Tuesday. The creek at the end was very refreshing though.
Tip. Read your manual and do your own service[/quote]
Learnt this lessen the hard way when I had a stator replaced on my old DR250S and the mechanic told me when I picked it up it sounded like the vavles needed adjusting. After I rode it home I thought it sounded noisey. Checked oil to find dumb f**ks had not put oil back in motor.
What made it worse they had charged me for 2 litres of oil.
Might slip down to Ballards and have a look at one of these myself. Just put new tyres on the DRZ, pain in the arse without a stand.
Mate I’ll lead no problem, it may mean we never leave the beach though cause thats all I know up there.
I got on at Anna Bay and drove down the beach to the wreck. From there I went up into the dunes where I took the kids sand surfing. Wind was blowing so they got a bit sand blasted but they still had fun. Went though the dunes back to Anna Bay. Couple of WR 450’s playing in the dunes while we were there.
I was up Stockton Beach last week in my 4 wheeled Suzuki. Keen to get up there on 2 wheels. Date and roster pending, I thing I need to make this comment my signiture,
Hope the DRZ performs in the dunes like the Vitara did, made the dunes seem like I was driving on a sealed road.
Dates and roster pending, I’m in.
Im sure these guys all carry GPS so the their possitions can be tracked at all times. I think the organisers of the Dakar have a bad reputation of when it comes to the welfare of competitors who fall by the wayside.
I see all the Aussie’s are putting in a solid effort. Hope they all make the finish.
The moral to the story is if he had a registered bike the trailer prolly would’nt of been parked in the bush in the first place.
