Sounds like another excuse for the Tamvegas casino tent to be erect. Will sort that out with rags.
There will be some strange sound and smells coming out of those bunk houses thats for sure.
After getting whiplash and near being pulled off the back of my bike with my Liquid Image EGO in the past I decided I hate having a camera mounted on top of my helmet. In tight bush it just a pain and can be down right dangerous. Since getting the Gopro I have had it mounted to the side of my helmet. This is a better option but I have still hit it on tree branches and it gets in the way when putting goggles on and off.
I did a bit of playing around today and managed to mount the Gopro on the front of the chinbar. This is where I ended up mounting the EGO and found it to be the best spot, both out of the way and good POV. The EGO being smaller is easier to mount, the Gopro in the case is much chunkier.
I pulled the front vent area off the helmet and removed the centre section which just clips out.
I then used part of the front helmet mount, which I zip tied and hot glued from the inside of the vent with the mount sticking out though the hole.
Screwed the front vent back on and mounted the Gopro and its now solid as and out of the way. The added benefit is I can just see the red LED on the back off the camera which shows when the camera is recording.
Need to go for a ride to test it out proper. Thinking of also mounting the EGO to the back of my helmet for rear facing shots.

Nice report and pics Murf. The ones of Justo taking a trip over the hangers are classics.
A bit of pressure and a bit just getting used to punting the big girl along single tracks. By the afternoon I turned the tables on them but by then the Gopro battery was dead. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
Just using 1080 30 fps and upload at 720 which I recon gives a pretty clean video, for YouTube anyway. I have tried 2.7k but the large files are a bit of a pain to deal with and when converted back to 720 for upload I can’t see the difference.
White and red reminds me of my old YZ80. I always thought this was the best colour of the Tenere.
I’m another fan of Motul but last week I ran out of fuel out Ben Bullen way and could only get valvolene lawn mower oil at the local servo. Ran fine but the fumes dead set burnt my eyes and it smelt like crap.

Will at least make things interesting. Honda will be have high expectations and KTM will no doubt put in a big effort to stop Depres.
Early days but if he’s fit my money will be on Coma.

XR650 – left, XR250 – middle, XR600 – Right, I think
Gota luv YouTube. Some classic Mr Moto X. I remember being at this round. I even bought a Go the rat shirt,
Great race with all 4 champs up the front but whats with the single file start? Hope thats a 1 off and doesn’t catch on. Theres nothing quite like a MX/SX gate start.
February 28, 2013 at 10:20 am in reply to: Kneeguard problems warranty am I expecting too much??? #237456Trailraider, these seem to be a poor quality product. I would probably cut my losses and avoid this brand and dealer in the future looking for a better quality replacement. Do you really want replacement set that will no doubt fail in the future.
The call of the 2t was obviously two strong to resist. Very nice ride.
How many time have you watched Reimann’s “riding the high” video since you got the three bungee?
