Definitely couldhave been dragged out a bit longer for a bigger hit! I’ve had similar ‘jokes’ running for weeks ending in the mark being a quivering mess before he’s let off the hook. It’s good having connections! Tops yarn though Mick as it stands

A touchy subject their Shane and thanks for making me stop laughing, We really need to protect our sponsors and the people that make this site happen although the points “MAY” have been pertinent, we really cannot keep such posts that may affect our sponsorship either in the now or in the future. The fact is the site crashed and we lost the post.

Now I wish I hadn’t read the entire post only the subject.

    Cheers
    Chris.

    Copy that! ;)

    No! Nyet! Negative!

I once rode a KTM 556 (or something) and to my credit nearly got that puppy into 3rd gear! When I stalled it I didn’t have the legs to start the bugger!

    A 700cc two stroke!?!?!?!?!?!

    No way Jose!

    Geez I hate clutches!!!!

I’d pull the thing apart, see what the plates look like and see if it all works like it should cold and with the covers off. THEN if the fault still remains try another fluid. For my mind I can’t think of any other reason for it to play up as described unless it was the fluid.

Take the Vor clutch for an example…I rode for ages thinking all my clutch feel was going…did the on-the-fly adustments, bled the system and even with the assistance of some helpful pirates ouldn’t work out whythe clutch wouldn’t disengage. Turns out the nut holding the basket in place came loose allowing one of the plates to jump out and sit out on top of the basket. Resulting in stiff as clutch at the lever and constant drive.

I was blaming the fluid! Somehow after everyride this issue fixed itself!

This may very well not be your problem but always start with the simplest cheapest fixes first i.e. fluid.

Let me preface this post with “I like Chop.” He could beat me to a pulp in a heartbeat!

But when I saw him ride I had that circus tune running in my head. You know the one that plays when all the clowns pile out of the mini??? Made me smile.

…but then I think I overtook him once and he had the pleasure of seeing me become intimate with Mother Earth!

I’m a magellan meridan lad…using oziexplorer I think. Firetrails on that system are sparse and I’d not be too keen to rely upon them. On the roads they’re okay but there must be something more current that’s better. I tend to use mine to mark out single track so I’m barely looking at it on the move.

As for comms, I know bugger all about blue teeth but at the prices you’ve quoted and given that the comms will be over a short distance, maybe you should consider some little watt uhf transceivers with vox throat mics. I’ve used them and they work quite well as well as being very portable. If battery life is an issue, you could hard wire them to the bike and simply plug in the helmet when riding.

I thought the same thing until I realised I was paying 30 bucks for one and a half stockings!!!! Raid the missus’ top drawer…but don’t tell her;) .
I found the toes of panty hose work eactly the same and SWMBO pays for them!!!!

Having said that, I don’t ride enough to warrant such regular filter changes
