My tie-downs have a loop on the end that attaches to the hook. could loop that soft end around the fork leg up near that triple clap, save attaching the new thingo. Good idea if one doesn’t possess soft tie-downs though.
Now, get back out into the shed and make up some of those rear wheel tie downs out of steel cable…
I’m out. Apparently I had plans pre-planned without my knowledge…
Nah I’m right, the minister for war and finances is crook, SHE’s the one I need to get the leave pass from!
I spend my spare time p1ss-farting around. Usually looking for things to half-do.
Today I painted the rear half of my poor old toyota because the panel beaters did a crap job last time and it was giving me the irrits. So I decided to fix it and did a sh1t job just like them! I hope cutting compound will fix it!!!
I do things in my spare time that normal people pay tradesmen to do for them. I guess I’m toight@!
Young bloke said he wanted one…
I heard if you leave them orange thingoes out in the sun they turn red eventually.
Nah, hang on I think that might be tomatoes!
hmmm…I’m a ‘maybe’. Must work on leave pass. I’m tops at getting lost up there
I concur! The name’s gold!

Hang sh1t? How very dare you!
Well, I did in the first sentence but thought I ‘serioused’ it up by the end. I only scanned the info cause I knew I’d read it somewhere (or thought I was going mad) then I found it and confirmed my initial suspicions. I missed the vest bit but picked up on the polka dots…we can’t all be fashion gurus ya know!
I think I’ve read this somewhere before!
Safety vests work a treat. Or make the sweep ride the distinctive sounding bike.
I noticed you bumped the roll thread this morning.
I can sweep as well if you like Sat and/or Sun. I don’t mind a bit of action out the back (that doesn’t sound quite right…)
Can’t lead cause I’ll get everyone lost up there!chris72a wrote:

Bugger! My screen has no buttons! Even on the bottom. There are plenty on the keyboard though. Can you post up a link that allows me to cut and paste my keyboard buttons to the screen so I can have some too?
Heat rises…usually. The bash plate on my little 280 never caused any problems even when filled with mud. I wouldn’t bewithout one.
Maybe you should consider ‘speed holes’?
Exactly what I was looking for to aid my failing memory.
I’d not be reducing the main jet, (after doing some reading and offerring crap advice!) too rich is better than too lean!
My dear old dad used to teach me that when a car is in good tune the exhaust tip is nice and grey (or something like that), but unleaded fuel has buggered that! now they’re all black!
Apart from the little black smoke, does it run well? This was my link http://hondanighthawks.net/carb14.htm
When does it run rich?
Full throttle
Half throttle or idle?
IIRC (and it’s been a while since I’ve tickled an XR), raising the needle richens her up in the mid-range of throttle position a tad??? might need to reduce the main jet (oh bugger it! now I’m off to research XR jetting! I hate forgetting things! I hate getting old!) -
