I’d say yes! I’ve always liked them, but look at me! I have a Vor!

Would there be no kickstarter because it’s EFI? That is, don’t you need the fuel pump running before it will start? If you’re kicking it aren’t you doing so because the battery’s dead?

I dunno, I won’t own an EFI bike any time soon.

Nice trailer, looks bigger than your truck! Your truck must be lower than my 80 was as it towed flat. Never to worry…

I think it is bigger than my ute. wasn’t your 80 raised a bit?

I don’t know the dog fence but from town to Menindee you can do the service road which follows the water pipes from the Lakes.

…the things people will do to make their bikes sound like a VOR!!!

Nice job, your dyno-excuse for the rotation sounds the goods…watch out for twisted cans in the near future, it’s how fashion happens!

I used to have the opinion that chains don’t break. Who needs to carry spare links etc???

Then I broke a chain, or link clip more likely. I had no spares and nothing I could come up with would get the bike going again.

Problem? Nah not really, but it was in the middle of an enduro!!!

    Now I carry.

Only time I’ve had a chain failure

There is (was) a map shop on Church St Nth Parramatta, if that helps.

Surely there’s someone online peddling them?

4wd and camping yes. Vor says no! If it’s even remotely like Fraser island it’ll be a hoot! I’m no fisherguy either but I’ll sit and drink watching ;)

Relax! I was being facetious! I’m just glad I got a “Tuesday” bike! I’ve heard that the Italian “Friday” bikes were riddled with faults!

    Funny you should mention oils…

When I had the XR I used synth oil, semi-synth oil, mineral oil…almst every oil at some point! But I changed it REALLY regularly, more often than not after every ride. When I pulled it down to put the 280 kit in it she was SO clean! I never adjusted the valves but did check them regularly.

Now with the Vor? She gets new crap oil after every ride. I dn’t think I’ve ever put expensive oil in it, I can’t justify the cost since it’s changed so frequently. That thing also is still very clean with excellent compression and stable valve clearances.

I’ll stick with cheap oil flshed through regularly.
