…that’s not shagged. That’s just a little ’embarrassed’. XR’s are never shagged!
Given this is likely to be a multi-day ride and bearing in mind that an award was given for the YM event, would it be too much to suggest a big deal be made of the last night before the run home?
What am i thinking you ask?
Well, what about a black tie event. Bit of a feed, a little drinkie
, and some awards for the trip handed out, the odd comical speech delivered? I’ve seen reports of black tie events being held out in the middle of nowehere…
Just a random thought from up here.
I can use my dual cab ute, nothing as rough as tat where you’re going on the next trip! My trailer however won’t handle that type of thing on it’s current wheels, but I’m happy to put my hand up!
Took me and a mate a good while to pull his Husky out of a bog hole that didn’t look anywhere near as bad as that one did on approach, when he went into it I thought, “Oh dear.” especially after I hit the opposite side of another one earlier and wrecked a brand new helmet. That was down the Maculata Rd end…somewhere
Where I come from driving on roads like that can incur fines of thousands of dollars per axle. I have a 4wd so I guess I’m twice as bad as everyone. I’ve gone out in the wet but not into bog holes like that.
Having said that there are some monster ruts caused by bikes that run directly downhill, I can only imagine the erosion caused by those when it rains. Yes the ‘fourbies’ cause more damage I agree, I’ve seen bogans in deeper holes than them thar ones! Luckily being on bikes we have the opportunity to cut our own single tracks and can get away from such billy goats…how norty is that!
Trouble is, too many people have too much money and time on their hands these days and as a result, we see the damage cause depicted in the above photos.
Now that you;ve said that and given the forecast for the weekend…is the Watagans ride now cancelled? (Nah I’m taking the p1ss on that last bit!)
Scared of getting wet or scared of drowning in some of those 4wd bog holes from hell?:woohoo:
Thanks for the offer Macs but don’t look too hard. I need ’em with tyres and aren’t in a real hurry. I should have said I’m looking for standard wheels and tyres to suit the ute so that I have extra spares that match the trailer. I don’t mean to sound ungrateful, the trailer is ready to go with the ford rims it has…
When a set turn up on ebay or something for a nice tightarse price I’ll pick ’em up. I don’t actually ‘need’ them (now I’m sounding like my mrs!)
4wd diesel ute with canopy, fridge, big esky etc. I also have a trailer but I’m hunting some toyota wheels for it.
I’m up for a road trip but need dates well in advance.moto wrote:

It was working well while it lasted. That’s DBW for you!
You can ask advice about your sister-in-law’s boyfriend but don’t you dare mention another bike forum!
If this place gets like that I’m outta here as well!
If you post up on these next two I bet niether get deletedI went to the doctor’s last week for my annual check up, she told me I should stop masturbating.
I asked why?
She says, “Because I’m trying to examine you!”BOOM BOOM!
Tony Mundine (not his real name) goes to the doctor’s and says, “Doc, everytime I walk past a mirror and see myself I get sexually aroused.”
Dr. says, “No wonder….you’re a tnuc!”
That’s why they call it…
