I’d pick a bike with all the parts already on it. (Again).

I won’t tell my missus how much I spent on my little XR in go fast parts.

As for the Vorgina? I got a bash plate and bark busters…

(Oh, and all those parts that failed but that’s an entirely different story…. )

I’d hate to see the condition of the Vor when I rebuild it.

I’ve gone against the flow and chosen to change the oil VERY regularly, which means I’m not using the best syntheticoil available, obviously.

    Valves haven’t been adjusted yet…

Valve adjustment got nothing really to do with the oil, more the air filter whick you must look after ;)

Motul 5100 15w50 I have used it in everything I own, Chickens 600 has had in it since I got it with 4500kms on it, it has now done over 44000kms it has been raced, trail ridden and done it all and has had a clutch fitted nothing else, my 650 has just had its 28th oil change, most around 500kms some over 1000kms (just) it did the whole four day without an oil change, that’s enough for me.

    TB

Yup. air filter gets done when the oil is, which is about every 100 kays or so depending on the ride.

I’d hate to see the bore, but maybe it’s okay given that I haven’t had to adjust the valves, cause my maintenance regime is so strict. (I know what I meant to say!:S )

Yep it appears as though I’ve had a tow ball mount stolen and didn’t even know it!

Lucky I didn’t realise in the morning!

It usually stays off the car which is why I searched the shed. I have a pad lock that’ll fit the pin, I reckon with all the mud my thing gets into a locking pin might not be very reliable,

I think you’re supposed to lick your fingers before you do any nipple work.

Unless I’ve been to the wrong websites?

    Hi Chris,

Do you have any ideas on how many your expecting to ride and what the pace will be…

I was out there with Suttos a couple of weeks ago and it was great. I’d also have to check on the leave pass as I was at the watto rally this weekend.:woohoo:

Looks like it’ll be a number between 5 and 10 at this stage?

Pace? Somewhere between as fast as the leader and as slow as the sweep rider!

I wouldn’t worry about the pace or technicality of the ride. There’ll be plenty of hands available and probably the odd wit to spur you up any obstacles that pose any diffiulty! ;)

The bloke I’m taking up is fairly new to riding and I’ve smilingly thrown him into the deep end on occassion so there’s nothing up there you shouldn’t be able to handle…
