My little boys gave me a brand new custom surfboard so I will spend the morning on that. Seems a bit heartless not to use it after they went to so much trouble

Get the right coil for the rear shock Snowy and set up your sag and you will be well on your way. I found the Showa forks to handle firmer compression settings so you can do that for your fork for the short term to sort the front. The valving in the CRF is way better than most in stock form so if you sort the spring rates you will have much better handling You may already understand the relationship between rebound and high/low speed compression but if not spend some time on Google. Get your clickers right and you have the best free upgrade available.

You could try lower gearing to give a bit more snap mate. Also make sure you are not running a big tyre on the rear as that will suck some power.
If 107kg is without gear then maybe skip a few parmies. That should liven her up.STM
It is a shame about the foggy lens but this is still gold!

I put in some more hours this week and am looking good for the Noosa deadline. I cleaned up and greased the swing arm and linkage. I stripped down the carby and gave it a good clean. Re-lubed the shock bearings and cleaned up some more of the plastics. I also polished my Yoshi pipe to a mirror finish and put fresh alloy logo plates on it.

Next week I get the fork back and will be able to finish the rolling chassis and then drop it off to my engine builder.STM

Your bike going to be ready or will you have a Beta?

Remember when we crashed on the same hill, at the same time, and could not help each other because we were both trapped and soaking in the sweet aromas of 98 Octane.
