Despite Mother Nature throwing everything at us we got out today and had a good ride. It didn’t rain today but there was still plenty of water around as you would expect. I kept us out of the worst of it and the boys all seemed very happy with the day. As it was only a small crew we rode all the nasty stuff and linked up some tight singles with some steep hill climbs. Galey got some shots so I am sure he will do a full report next week.

micknmeld wrote:I cant believe how many times a Bello ride has been stuffed up with flooding rain. It seems every time someone tries to put a Bello ride on, we have a significant weather event here on the Mid North Coast. It goes back 3 years now here on OBT, right from when Aarochild tried to run a ride up that way. The best laid plans can be stuffed up by the weather. Good luck with it EV and congrats to the boys that are still willing to take it on!The difference this time is that Ev will not give up! It will not be the ride he had originally planned but he will make the best of it. He is going to make something happen on Bello Southside tomorrow, friday has moved up to my place. Saturday is down to Macksville and by Sunday morning Northside Bello could be on. Keep your eye on the ride report because either way it will make for good reading.

Bellingen 160ml but Coffs only had 26ml,Nambucca 10ml, Colambatti ( Near Macksville) 22ml.
Its patchy and unpredictable.
The Bom says
Thurs – rain easing
Fri, Sat Sun a few showers
Its not gunna be the ride we wanted Nth Bello and west Coffs are a write off, well be making the best out of a bad situation. But second best around here is still OK
I know for sure Macksville will be sweet.
But the fact is Ive never riden alot of the other trails when its this wet so there is the potential for things to happen.
This would be my third Bello washout so I wont be offended if no one turns up.
We can reschedule but that would take months and it could washout anyway.
Planning this far ahead on the Nth coast is tricky.
If people are still keen then it will happen.
I think if were smart about it and prepared we can stay out of trouble and have a decent ride about 70%,We will have to do a bit of driving, and we will get wet.Thats ok, we are not made of sugar, see you tomorrow.
Love your attitude LC
I spent some time on the phone to Ev last night and there is a plan B and C. I have not had ad much rain up my way as before the November ride and WR all know how good that turned out. Possibly a bit of extra driving as Ev says but he will not give up. It won’t he dusty!STM

Hey Ev
I have a set of good Walkies and I will bring them with me. I will also bring my GoPro, a compact digi, a Spot Tracker and a GPS logger. That should take care of the electronics

We both work in sales and marketing and they still got us  True about the resolution though. You need 864356676 x 45743466 to see Madonna’s arse hair.STM
BOLLOCKS wrote:STM…how much extra horn power does the pipe give you compared to the stock pipe that comes with it?
Or was it on when you bought it?If so…have you riden one with a stock pipe to compare?
Bol :woohoo:Hey Bol
The big difference is right off the bottom and that’s were you need it with a 250F. We both know once you build the revs they run hard but down low they can bog. Swap your stock can with a Barrett’s and you will notice a difference. Once you wind into the 10000rpm range it is not such a big deal but you have to get there first and this will do it faster. Plus it sounds like Murph’s 500 :woohoo:STM

Plenty of room left, if anyone is keen.
Well, I gotta admitt I have been watching this ride for a little bit!!!@@@!@!@!@!@!()()(.
If there is still room for Thursday and Friday for a couple of Lake Macquarrie riders
We would love to come up and play.
Still waiting on shitty shift patterns.
Hoping if all comes together Tim and I will fill the numbers for Thursday and Friday…….
Will travell home Friday night
Hey STM you will see Mr stra8ight Murph (yes very boring)
Too old to do a follow up grade 5 wiff a hang dover?????I’ll be showing up the same way mate so it will be interesting to introduce sober STM to sober Murph. I hope they get along.
Looks like a serious crew gathering for this one with Galey, you and Tim joining the mix. The terrain and forests around Bellingen make for incredible riding and no one knows the place better than Ev.
This will be one to remember!
The weather the last few days has been perfect so fingers crossed for next week. Like Ev says it it is too wet in Bello then he has an option down the road.STM
Hey Ace
Over the last year there has been a lot of HD video in ride reports. Mal5.1, Dude, Jeffro, Nickj and myself are all shooting in HD. Have a look back through the ride reports. Recently Mal and Dude posted dome great shots from the 2011 Coffs ride.
Nickj is using the goggle cam and loves it. You can check out some of his footage on YouTube at Nickj660.Cheers
STMI hope one of you boys have a GoPro. I want to see and hear Boony at 13000 rpm :woohoo:

I did have another chapter to tell but thanks to Menace and LC I can’t remember anything about Sunday :pinch:

I reckon he will show off about how light it is and drop it on himself unloading it. The light weight won’t help because he will be pinned under it and he will need two people to help him up, just like the good old days.
Once the bike is running he will be fine.
