Trailboss wrote:Hey King dust won’t be a problem if I read that right there is a 90% chance off 145 mm of rain in 4 or 5 daysTB
They called for a bit this week and we got none. It was a bit dusty last weekend so if they are right it will fix that!

If there is one thing he will try and remember after the weekend STM is “why is my ass so sore”
That would be from the 2 stroke vibration

Just to keep it all legit
* This is not a paid ride, there is no money changing hands it just me going for a ride and you have decided to follow. I am not responsible for you, your bike or your belongings. If you are not happy at any stage with any part of the ride, you are free to leave and not participate, remember you are joining me of you own free will. If you have a friend that’s a fancy talking lawyer stay home with him and have fun together.
* This is a trail ride, sort of an adventure tour as such, don’t see the word race there do you? No because its not a race. If you are a hero racer or a hero stay home with old mate and his lawyer buddy. (besides I am the fastest, I am the only one that knows the way )
There are many hidden obstacles, rocky sections, blind crests and curves, it may be dusty, it may be muddy so please ride within your limits, if you feel you are slow (not that you will be) you will be faster then a guy laying on ground waiting for help, don’t spoil it for yourself and everybody else.* If you ride in such a way as to endanger yourself or anyone else on the ride you will be told to leave, this includes passing people and such trail ethics, my decision is final if you dont like this or anything else here DONT COME
Old Bulls must also state that this is NOT an organised event and that no organisational function is undertaken or initiated by Old Bulls with respect to such rides. There are no set tracks/ routes and members ride at their own time and discretion. Old Bulls forum is a medium used for organizing rides by members and in attendance Old Bulls takes no responsibility or liability for injury or damage to persons or personal property that may occur

On a brighter note Dude has taken your spot.STM

Good choice on the KTM 250F. What does the COD lad think of it?Cheers Galey
Thanks Galey, will do so. The lad does not know about the bike yet, its gonna be presented as a chrissy present. He’s a very lucky boy indeed, but I’m sure he’ll be over the moon. I know he’s keen coz I have been discussing the prospects of gettin back to dirt riding in recent months and he’s been very enthusistic about such ideas.
Corey8 wrote:Well i am happy to add to this thread and give you my personal experience. Now please don’t get me wrong the 300 was fun but not my idea of a TRAIL bike and today as of 9.12am i feel like i was first prize in a gay mardi gra raffle.
Ouch

Mal is fit and ollie is in the navy :kiss:All this is only my opinion
Corey8Hey Corey, thats terrific advice mate, cheers. Yes my fitness levels aren’t what they were  and I know I need to improve such areas, but thats right a 2 smoker may just be a step too far …at this stage anyway
Thanks gang
Hey Squizzy
Corey has summed it up beautifully and when you find another bike you like the look of don’t be shy to post it up and ask the question. There are some passionate 300c 2T riders on this site and it is fair to say they all rip. They would feel they are manageable because of how competent they are on a bike but at the end of the day there are softer options for someone looking to get back into the sport. Besides, if you did end up with the 3 hundy your boy would flog it in time and you would be on the 250 anyway :laugh:Boony wrote:King STM wrote:After an epic ride yesterday I took it easy today and sorted through some stuff for next weekend. I had bought the Tuff Jug back from Nundle and when I picked it up from Boony there were coins bouncing around in the bottom. Today I opened it and there were also some notes. I counted it up and in total the “empty” jug I was given has $143.90 in it!
This is Nundle money so unless the Tamworth crew want it to carry over I will get it all cashed in for notes and give it to Boony on Friday.Cheers

Let it ride scotty.
Nice one Boony.
