    Finalised Itinerary

The 3rd running of the Coffs Harbour singletrack epic is set for the last weekend in November. Rides will be organised for Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday morning.
I have struck up a deal with Darlington Beach Holiday Park which gets you a cabin for $99 a night for up to four people. That is only $25 a night to stay in very good accommodation. You just need to call 02 6640 7444 and use the booking code “Old Bulls” to secure the deal. There are also powered sites and camping sites at regular rates if you would prefer.
The ride will not be capped but you will not be added to the ride list until you have booked your accommadation. Once you have done that let me know and I will add your name.
As many of you know this is an excellent resort for the whole family so you don’t even need a leave pass, just bring them with you.

    Friday Ride
Friday’s ride will leave from the United Service Station at Mullaway at 2pm. As people are driving that day no doubt someone will need fuel, a bite to eat or some air in their tyres so if we meet here any dramas can be solved before we head out. It is less 3 kms south of Darlington Beach Resort and it is on the Pacific Hwy so it is impossible to miss.

Here it is on the map.
    Servodirections.jpg

The ride will finish back at the resort so it is best to unload up there and then ride down unless you run out of time. If so then there is plenty of space to unload and leave your car at the servo.

    Friday Night
Dinner for Friday night is booked at the Amble Inn and the shuttle bus will run us from the resort to the pub and back. The shuttle bus will commence pick ups from 6.30pm and run for 20 mins so if you get there after that you will need to organise a taxi or ring the pub and try and get them back to pick you up. The shuttle will run you back to the resort when you are done.

    Saturday Morning
I met with Darlington Park and organised breakfast for Saturday morning. Last year some people bought food with them and others went looking for it on the Saturday morning and had to rush back to make the ride so I thought this would be the best option. This way we all get fed in one spot and we are all gathered together ready for rider breifing at 8.30am.
If you do want to bring your own breakfast and eat it in your cabin on Saturday morning you can still do that but I thought this would be a good start to the day.
For anyone bringing their family they are included in this deal and I also arranged a price for kids.
Breakfast will be served at 7.30am in ‘The Ponds Cafe’.
    $16 per adult:
    $9 per child:
    • Selection of juices, teas and coffee
    • Selection of cereals, muesli and yoghurt
    • Toast with condiments
    • Fresh whole fruit or fruit salad
    • Scrambled or fried eggs and crispy bacon

Lunch on Saturday will be at the Golden Dog Hotel in Glenreagh. They do a great range of blackboard specials for $12.50 and they know the numbers and times to expect. Fuel will be shuttled to the pub to meet you at lunch as none is available in town. I ask you to pair up with some one so that my old man does not have to drive around with 50 jerry cans in my ute. Bring your jerry to the rider briefing at 8.30 in the resort car park.
After lunch the groups will swap leaders and head out for the afternoon ride. For those that wish to pull the pin you can ride back 30km’s on a main road to the resort. If anyone has bike dramas there will be a vehicle to bring you and your bike back to the resort from Glenreagh.

    Saturday Night
Dinner for Saturday will be at the Darlington Camp Cook House as it was last year. It is a great place to have a party and to do the auction without us geting in anyone elses way. For this you will need to bring something to throw on the BBQ. The resort does make BBQ catering packs so even this can be sorted on the day. As most of you are in cabins though you have a fridge so bring some snags or steaks for the BBQ. I will supply bread, salads and condiments as I did last year so you don’t have to worry about the small stuff. I will bring paper plates and plastic knifes and forks so if you need something with more class then BYO it. There is a bottle shop up the road so you can stock up for this Saturday afternoon if you did not bring it with you. The Camp Cook House has fridges and I will bring some large eskies and ice.

    Sunday
Sunday morning you can order some breakfast off the cafe menu or eat whatever you bring. I am pretty sure I skipped that meal last year and even struggled to keep lunch down
At 9am I will lead a 3 hour ride for those still keen for more that will start and finish back at the resort so that those travelling can get away.
For those staying for the day it will be lunch at the Ponds Cafe at the resort and then the inaugural OBT surf afternoon followed by recovery drinks around the pool :woohoo:

The first post has been completed and has all the info you need. Please take the time to read it carefully. If anything is unclear then just send me a PM. If you do ask something that is explained in the first post I will happily answer it but you will be fined $5 that will go straight to the Tuff Jug. It is a shame Mick can’t make it as that alone would be a lot of money

    Cheers
