This is about the only moment ChrisT had all day which is incredible considering the bike he was on. Unfortunately for Nickj he came around the corner and saw Chris stuck in the rut and had no choice but to drop it. It was super slick and there was no way he could have pulled up.

    Hi Mick
Sanctioned events may be your only chance for legal riding with your bike. All trail rides that happen through this site require rego and licence so try a few events and if you enjoy it then trade your bike for an ADR model and you will be able to join in on heaps of great rides in your area.

    Welcome to the site.

    Happy birthday Mate!
Turning 40 gives you one more excuse to add to your ever growing list :P
Seriously though, the last year has been a ripper and I have loved every minute of the many hours we have spent riding together and I look forward to many more to come.

Looks like Yamaha will shut up all the critics with this one and they have squeezed it into a yz250f frame. :woohoo:

We are about 10 weeks from the ride so I thought it time to unlock the thread so the banter can begin.
Keep in mind though that the ride is full.

I went out today and started looking around some of the trails I have not ridden for a while and they are in surprisingly good shape. There is still a lot of trail work to be done but it was good to see some of my less ridden loops have not been over run by lantana.
I am starting to plan the two loops as we will run a similar system to last year. For those not here last November I split the ride into two seperate groups on the Saturday. You all get to ride the same terrain and you all get lunch together but it flows much better as two groups of 20.
Friday and Sunday’s ride will be one group.
If you let me know which days you plan to ride I will start putting the list together.

Fridays ride is just a two hour lap starting at 2pm for those that can get the day off and would like a warm up before Saturday.

    Cheers

This clip is a classic example of the riding we did with Mike. Old twin trail that has grown back into singletrack that flows through the forest and seems to go on forever, or at least you wished it did. That is Nickj in front of me.

STM did you really need to take the whole quiver???
    Did you get a surf??

    BTW Happy 40th Nick. B)

Your not wrong Murph. The girls ended up at a day spa which made our day look cheap!
I took three boards as my wife surfs and I had one for ChrisT but it was dead flat even on the Sunshine side.
All good though as I had a great surf yesterday :woohoo:
