    I have my Spot Tracker set up on the sternum strap of my Camelback. I can reach it with either hand and if I become separated from the bike the spot stays with me. They also recommend in the manual that it should be kept 1 foot from other gps devices.

    6000 should be no problem mate. My WR250 stalls below that :laugh:
    It did get asked earlier in the thread if your plan was to use your XR for ADV riding. Is that the case?

    Plenty of rides to be had between your place and Newcastle so keep your eye out for upcoming rides. If you are happy to drive some distance there are some great rides up and down the coast.

    The Coffs contingency is ever growing and if you check the ride gathering thread I have a ride organised on the 30th of July. It includes a pub lunch so you are more than welcome to join us.
