I found that article and the Tachyon XC Micro gets a good wrap. Out of 8 cameras it came third and on value it is the clear winner.
It is also waterproof to 30 meters so Macka could use it in Bello.

Mine is the first version Go Pro which is standard definition and it was $400 but it is a bit less now as the new HD one is on the market. If you want to edit full res files go the HD but if it is just for YouTube and file sharing the standard one is fine. They are for sale below $300 now.

Very cute STM. I like the little bike with no pedals would be a good stepping stone onto a bigger bike later. Must be something about blokes and “small blokes” liking riding through water. My young bloke would do that all day if I let him. Only this afternoon I had to hunt him out of the puddles on his Redline as it was spraying right up his back!. How do your bikes cope with all the water, salt etc? My bike still has evidence of the Coffs ride and I washed it as soon as I got home!

I use plenty of tyre shine after I wash it and use a wet lube on the chain. Super Cheap Auto have their generic tyre shine for about $2.50 a can so it is cheap insurance.
Trying to get my little mate out of the puddles is impossible so I just let him at it :woohoo:

Transmoto did an excellent shootout of helmet cans. Try their website while I dig up the back issue.
If he enjoyed them on YouTube wait till you see the raw files in full res. You think you are on the bike.

It’s true that they are a private company contracted by the government. That means instead of patrolling black spots they hang out in spots that are easy picking like the bottom of hills and on the edges of towns where the limits change.
We have always combined that it is about revenue not safety and they have proven it by going to a private business who makes commission on fines issued.

Bike knicks and chamoix cream will do the job Murph. After all it allows the freaks in the Tour De France to pedal 3500 km’s in three weeks and it keeps them rash free.

That ride looks awesome Ev.. its good to see you have found some user friendly trails that dont have to many hills  There is nothing worse than having to backtrack because one rider cant make it up telecom hill  I hope you didn’t get to much mud in your handbag!! I am also stoked for you that all those dodgy yamaha’s made it home on the day ;)

    Hey Sanchez

    Just as I suspected Krusty.
No cake on the header and no scuffs on the handguards equals new bike.

And it’s no fun coughing up dust for 2 days after a ride :S

I too would rather ride loam than dust but I would also rather ride in the dust than not at all. With what has happened up here in the last 24 hrs riding this weekend is no longer an option.
Such a disappointment after the planning Ev has done and I was very keen to catch up with the crew on the ride list.

    Hi Guys.
I’m a new Old Bull if that makes sense.

I live in Coffs, and yeah, postponing looks to have been the right call :-)
Went up Crossy on Friday, and it’s in good nick, but she’s real wet now. And still pissing down.

I’d love to come along when date is sorted!!!

    Cheers.
    Rich.

    Hey Rich

Welcome aboard. Keep your eye on the site as there is a lot going on between Wauchope and Yamba.

    See you out there.

You two have obviously never lived on the Coffs Coast

Coffs is underwater right now and it does not look like letting up yet.
Throw a few dates around when you have a chance but Sundays are ok for me.
That is now three Bello washouts in a row
