Once I get my hands on a 5.4 I am happy to part with the 5.6. I have wound back the preload and will try it once more but at 92kg I think it is going to be too stiff still.

    I will let you know.

    Welcome Beno

Tamworth is an OBT hot spot so you should be able to get out on some good rides around Nundle.

    Enjoy the site.

I mentioned to TB that it looks like a Transformer. I bet if you get it up on it’s back wheel it could turn into a robot. Should’nt be long until TB finds out with his love for wheelies.

Did you hear he did one out of Capertee

Apart from surfing I also spent a bit of time today giving my litttle Yami some TLC after I dropped it twice on a local hill (the Widow Maker) yesterday.
The first time I got bucked off the back and the bike came up and over me whilst standing on the edge of one very steep rock hill. The bike hit hard but wore it well. The second time I got deflected across the face and ended up having to drag it around while it was laying on it’s side. It was making some horrible grinding noises but I had no choice. If I had picked it up facing up the hill and even breathed on the clucth it would have rolled to the bottom.
The vid below shows my second failed attempt. As all photography it does not show the true pitch but trust me it is steep! The top in the footage is a false face as it rears up again after this:ohmy:

I managed to drag her around and rode back down to line up for a third attempt. This time I made it :woohoo:

I spent yesterday ripping up my local forest with 4 others and I spent today catching right handers at my local break with two others.

    Good Country!!!

Tomorrow I have to make a decision. Ride, surf or both

I rang Mal at Sutto’s and he too suggested the Motorex 622. I have bought some and will give it a try over the next few rides.

They sell the oil and the cleaner as a twin pack for about $20.

It is a filter oil cleaning system that is clean and green and you can do it in your kitchen sink. You don’t even need to wear gloves and your filter is spotless and the oil is tacky.
