    Welcome Dobbo

I just read your fork bleeder post and that is good advice. The front wheel needs to be off the ground whether you are using bleeder valves or the screw adjustment otherwise you are reducing the air spring in your forks.

    Enjoy the site

I dont know yet first impressions you dont feel its weight at all it feels nicely balanced but wait until I off road it tomorrow.

Your statement “I was just concerned that after fully loaded she might be a bit over- weight!” makes be laugh re-read that anything fully loaded for across Aus will be over weight, it will be how it carries its weight ;)

    TB

i see what you mean, i have been planning this trip for 2 years and my fully loaded is what I think I will need but only the minimum!

ie; swag, gps, new obt tee and stubbie cooler!!! 😆

I can pack for you if you want mate. That should keep the weight down. Before I go shopping though how many nights will you be gone so I know how many fully loaded cans you will need.

I bought a copy today at a servo in Macksville.

Had a quick flick tonight and it look the biz.
AJ Roberts has an excellent article on riding singletrack and there is a great bit on suspension. Plus the A4DE has epic coverage and Mal really needs to see some of the grass track photos.
