The back side of the Alpine Way has some epic riding. Tom Groggin through to Kancobin. I don’t know if tour operators run that time of year but if they do you are pretty safe that you will not see any snow as it is low enough to rarley get it but it will be cold.
Tom Groggin is only about 40 mins out of Thredbo so someone here may know more or google it and the local operators name should come up. I remember reading in either ADB or Dirt Action a ride report from a winter ride they took last year.

Have a great night mate although I am sure the celebrations are already in full swing.

Quote:That come up real nice STM. Muc-Off works a treat hey.Did you get the car care kit too? Keen to know how it goes.
Me and the Hilux have an understanding about cleaning. It does not happen!
My wifes car gets a lot more love so I will give the report once she gets out there and gives it a good polish. The car that is

After being lucky enough to win some Muc-Off product at Sofala and bringing home a very dirty bike I thought I would give it a real tough test. My bike was absolutely filthy and had been sitting in the garage for a week so the crap had set up real good
I used the Muc-Off pink cleaner, the Bike Spray and the Micro Fibre cloth. I could rattle on about how good it worked but as they say a picture tells a thousand words so here is the result. Before

As you can see it does a great job and if you have a choice when purchasing cleaning products get the one that supports the site. Muc-Off!

Quote:Thanks for the positive feedback Dand.if my riding improves tenfold I will be stoked and STM won’t have to wait as long for me next weekend! If your riding improves ten fold you will need that dampner to keep you on line as you ride straight over the top of me

List is updated and we have 5 of 10. Half way there.
If there was one component that was universal last weekend it was Pivot Pegz. If you are not running them you here is your chance. Price will be confirmed on Monday but it will be a significant saving on retail.
Cheers

I am keen to hear some real world feeedback here too. There were quite a few on bikes at Sofala but I have never ridden with one.
After the deflections I was getting through the rocky stuff I would love to be able to compare the difference with one.

It is on until we get 10. As long as it takes.
I started this new buy to help out Nickj so let me know if you are keen and I will add your names to the list.
I will confirm the price next week.Cheers

There area few Berg owners on OBT who might be able to give you some feeback.
Anyone?STM
I got to admit I have a soft spot for that Berg 390 as well. I think you should get one ASAP and bring it down to Coffs just to make sure it is ok in the tight stuff
