November 11, 2013 at 7:41 pm in reply to: What did you see today thread, see something tell everybody #251662Welcome back mate. Looks like its time to get back out there for some local loops. While the girls are doing Pilates we can work on our own fitness
Give me a call on 0488585939. After the rain we have had it will be primo. I did a loop on the weekend and the trails were buffed but very dry. Now they will be perfect!!!STM
TheRowan wrote:If your keen – give me a yell on the mobile, (0410704549), not sure how ride conditions willbe— -We have just had a GOOD amount of rain, so i am hoping we get a couple of hot days prior to saturday morning – otherwise it will be as slippery as hell,,,,,One of the Blokes heading up from port has hurt his back at work- so it looks like we will have an ESKY BEARER or DINNER MAID, as he is still keen to come up but not bringing his ride.Still 3 of us coming up from PORT MAC, 2 comin from Grafton and 2 from Coffs – leading the ride- so 7 in total to date.
We will heading up on Friday night, for early morning start sat, Talk about early short sun ride if anyone is keen on the morning. :laugh: :woohoo:

It will be slick mate!! It is pissing it down in Coffs. The terrain around here handles the water so as long as you have a break in the weather from Friday you should be fine.

He actually led us around the first time we camped at Trent Leans place down on the river bank. I reckon it would be a great location for a birthday Bash as well (although going off my Schedule I probably wont be able to get there in May next year
)

That was an awesome camp site Ollie. even had its own motox track.
this thread is gaining momentum. keep thinking peoples.
we need to gather the bulls and ride the trails….( Mmmm name for a song STM?)I have a plan for the Tamworth connection. Call me this week and we will look it in.

Burnsy wrote:Guess I’ll just put it down to being a shit tyre..the guy at the shop said they were good :laugh:
The tyre wasn’t hard, or white or cracked, I actually thought it felt to soft….. :huh:Yeah was on the 530 Nato, Ill give the m12 a try,or mabey back to the Carlsbad
CheersWe have seen how you like to crack it on Burnsy and that tyre never stood a chance. I tried those Metzlers and butchered them on my gay 250 so you had no hope :laugh: If you want to feel better about ripping knobs that quickly try an S12. In the dry weather we are having that will last about 15 minutes on your bike! I used one at Sunny Corner and realised why they call it an S12. The S stands for Sunny Corner and the 12 is how many minutes it lasted
M12 front and MX51 rears are my favs. Depending on stock the MX extra on the back is very good value.STM
I hope you enjoyed your day mate and all the very best for the year ahead,
STM
Great result mate. I plan to get to one next year. Which is the best track/ round?
