Is there going to be a shed party on Friday night as I am super keen to be a part of that!
Hey 99
Glad you guys had such a good time and the conditions for you could not have been better. Loam everyday and clear skies, good timing.
Thanks for dropping the map back and I am heading out tomorrow to ride “Amazon”. It took two guys from 1000k’s away to find the best trial in my forest so it sure does pay to share
Can’t wait to see some shots and if you find your way down south again give me a yell. You boys can lead next time!

Welcome Underhonda
You have officially been initiated as in your first thread you have boony rambling already.
Well Done

Welcome Freeze
I too am a member of the WR250 club. Mine is a 2005 model but she has aged quickly with all the near misses she has had so I would say our bikes are of a similar vintage
Enjoy the site.

What the hell is up with that new avatar?
This site has become a part of my daily ritual and I love it. I fully appreciate all the work that goes into it and for that I say thanks to all admin!
TB, you are rare person who enjoys giving more than recieving and your generousity and willingness to help others is proof of that. I look forward to your next 10000 posts.
If each member only gets 11000 posts then lock Boony now and give his surplus to TB
Thanks Mate.

Quote:Update / bumpThe Old Bull 2 year Anniversary rideI am using the now spare weekend in May 1st and 2nd to organise a ride from the Zig Zag railway to Sofala. After the weekends ride that Crash, Boulder and I did (Look here) I thought it would be rude to not share some of those trails and use some of the Hill End adventure tour trails (See Here) that people enjoyed so much
So the plan is to leave the Zig Zag at 8am, that is after you have put your full jery can, swag and food / esky into the support vehicle.
We will ride through some phat twins and singles to Capertee for a snack and fuel. From there through to Sofala, via a fuel dump for a splash and dash for those that require it.
We will hopefully camp on the Turon river close enough to Sofala that we can go to the pub if we want to or need to.Numbers for the ride will be limited it will cost you $10 to have your gear and fuel carried by the support vehicle that is not neg (what they choose to do with money if they dont want it etc is their business)
The next days ride will be mostly different trails.
We will refuel at Capertee on the way home and have lunch.
The weekend will be between 300 to 400kms
We now have two support vehilces and trailers so numbers are no longer restricted

Enjoy

Darlington is only 2 k’s from me and it is absolute beach front. This time of year cabins are cheap and the facilities are 1st class.
I ride a WR250F as I mostly ride tight singletrack but I have terrain here that would challenge anyone and any bike keen to have a crack!

Welcome ktm250exc
You can always go easy on the power and tame any machine if you choose. If you love the bike you will not only enjoy your time on it but also your time looking after it.
Just do it and get back out in the Aussie bush ASAP.
