I will check hat date in April with work commitments but it should be fine.

Maybe I should put on the annual three day ride on those dates.

I will let you know so you can pass it on to them.

    Cheers

Interesting to see how quickly people jump on the “you should never ride on your own” line. Riding motorcycles through the bush at speed is fraut with danger which is why the general population think most of us are crazy.

Everytime you are pinning it down a sweet piece of singletrack up on the pegs and on the edge we are at our happiest. We are also putting ourselves into a dangerous situation that sometimes can turn bad. If I only went riding when I had someone to go with I would not ride anywhere near as much as I do, but I accept the risk of riding as an acceptable compromise of the enjoyment it gives me. If we only planned for the worst we would never ride, drive or fly. Everybody on this site relates to each other becauase we love the thrill that riding gives us.

Is riding on your own more dangerous? Potentially yes. So is not wearing body armour, neck braces or proper boots but people do it. I personally will accept the added risk rather than not ride and anyone who makes the same decisoion should be respected to do so at their own risk.

    Good topic Al

Just out of interest. When you refilled the syringe each time how did you stop air bubbles from plunging? I am about to do this job so would it be better to try and source an even bigger syringe?
