I love holding my hand out the car window at 100kph and angling my hand so that it gets pushed up and down and imagining it is claering doubles and landing sweetly in the pocket everytime.
Some are short gaps and some are long floaters

Are you sure you haven’t ridden my place yet Boony? :woohoo:
Nothing against 199 but I will spending my money watching 22 smash Bubba in Brisbane
My sister hands out this sort of advice for a living so maybe I could get her a log in and once a week she could offer a few tips and motivations to keep everyone on track.
STM
or should that be TSH (The shrinking Hippo)

Quote:I have reduced my nightly meal size, breakfast am having some shake thing from Tony Ferguson that Salina has organised for me, lunch is all about cold meat selection and salad. I have stopped having a rum of a night during the week, no more pre mixed rums out of the can unless its something like Louee. Walk the dog for half and hour most afternoons. But when I am out like this weekend at Hillend I am on tour and we all know what happens on tour
but I will try a little:blush:
TB
Hey TB
When you do get on the Rums mix your own and use light cola. I have found Pepsi Max to be the best to mix and you soon get used to the slightly different taste. Over the course of a night this makes a huge difference to your calorie intake.
Current weight: 94kgs
Target weight: 85kgs by end Feb
Strategy: A shit load of MTB, walking/ jogging to the beach for a surf instead of driving and less beer during the week. The weekend however is an entirely different story :laugh:The only bad service is slow and indecisive service. If a company says no I can deal with that but when it gets left for weeks on end then move on to a brand that either fixes your issue or has the balls to say they wont!

Quote:I agree STM however the only problem with this can be when you ring them up and someone else answers. I rang Boulder one day and when Clare answered I had to say ‘Can I please speak to Boulder?’ because I didn’t know his real name. I know it now but I didn’t then. Clare however knew exactly who I wanted and she put Boulder straight on but I still felt really odd asking for him like that :laugh:Ring them up? So these people are real? OMG

incredibly creative huh?
Not as creative as mine Champo. Mine is my first name and then my initial
Seriously I took a long time to work out what my user name would be. I was going to be KylieTTR250 but considering how often I change bikes that wasn’t going to be a good idea. I decided on KylieD because it was easiest and people would actually be able remember my real name on rides. I can never remember everyones real names, only their user names.
A couple of times though (after this happened to SuperUnit) I was worried that TB would change my username to Princess. Jeffro started by referring to me as Princess one day and it stuck.
Warning – don’t ever change my username to Princess. Blood will be shed. I don’t mind others calling me Princess because I take it as a term of endearment but change my username and there will be hell to pay.
This is the problem with user names. A couple of days ago a lady I work with said that she had met a guy up at Scott’s Head that said he rode with both DanD and I. She thought his name was Wayne something but from the description that she gave I have no idea as to who it is. The only Wayne I know is Crash and she described him differently .
You raise a good point Princess
and it is only when OB’s meet in the flesh and intro themselves with their real names that it gets confusing. Your user name on the site should be your name on your rides…

I think Pebbles suits you better after what you and your 300 Dinger did to me when you burned past me on the beach
Fresh FM streams out of SA and is enough to keep you working all night long
I have been acussed of being single minded about my recreation time and as I love nothing better than pinning some singletrack at speed I thought singletrackmind would work here. In true Aussie form I have been abbreviated to STM

Even if she likes pies??Depends, if they are fur pies I would say that she would be
Great read Dan!
I love a lot of things about OBT but reading good reports ranks as number 1. Sounds like you two had a great day and will certainly have some crew frothing for next weekend.

Quote:Thursday night gay scooter night.I do question the sexual preference / orientation of men who ride scooters. Scooters are just so GAY. There you go I have said it. GAY GAY GAY GAY SCOOTERS ARE GAY. That is my opinion, I am entitled to my opinion GAY GAY GAY SCOOTERS ARE GAY.
I am only saying what everyone else is thinking.
I could see the advantantage if you live in Sydney and were a metrosexual / homosexual for riding down to the Cafe to get your latte. But in Newcastle nah.
I am sorry if I have offended anyone but that is my opinion.
And by the way pies are great – just to keep on topic.
If scooters are so gay why is there such a population problem in Asia?
