The bar/ peg relationship was very neutral and felt good straight up. One thing I really liked was the way they sculpt the plastics. It really allows you to get a good grip on the bike without feeling like you are having to squeeze it. It is as if the have used some squarish edges on the radiator shrouds that you can really lock your legs into.
The stock brakes were also very impressive. Braided cables and oversize rotors are standards and the front was super powerful but well modulated.Nice bits of gear indeed!

You should never need to shift again after fitting a Revloc to one of those green torque monsters. Good onya mate!

Great idea with the early Saturday mornings. It will take a while for word to get out but it will make you a destination for many riders.
You also confirmed what I already thought, Facebook is best left to the ladies.STM

For sure mate. We will get to ride them all on good terrain. I am keen to try to 350, the 500 and the 250 2T.
There will be a full ride report next week.STM
Nato wrote:The protune looks good but when doing the protune settings do we have to run every clip through the go pro program? Or just record on protune and send it to imovie? Will be good to see the difference in the trails :whistle:I am using GoPro studio to clip the raw footage so I do it there. Then I open it up in imovie and away you go.

In the quest to get the best possible images out of my GoPro I did an experiment. The results speak for themselves.

Ross Moffitt wrote:Hi allJust a short note to let members & quests know that there are groups of trail riders about that still have a great time trail riding in ones senior years. Myself and 4 other 60 + year old riders and 2 X 40 ish “juniors” just completed a 215 Km bike ride (165 on dirt & trails) in the far south coast area of NSW (Bega area) today.
We completed the ride in about 6 Hrs including stops and had a ball. I can’t express in words how good it is to still be able to ride fairly quickly (for one’s age) over various slipper creeks, steep hills, rocks, flowing gravel trails etc and at the end of the day have the “youngster” say that they had a ball riding with blokes old enough to be their fathers.
We have some of the best least used trails and tracks in this area compared to what I see on videos that you central & northern NSW blokes have to ride. If any members are down Bega way and want some trail ride advice then please contact me.
I have ridden at 3000 km of trail and tracks over the past 40 years within 100 km from my base and I can direct riders to the best locations for total enjoyment.
Cheers
RossSounds good Ross,
Post up a ride date and location in the ‘Gatherings’ thread and I am sure you will have plenty of keen riders to join you. That is the OBT spirit. You share your trails and there are always others willing to do the same.

Very nice mate!
