    Hey GJP

Welcome aboard. Sounds like you have found the right site. I like your choice of Dirt bike. Yamaha 05WR250F, obviously somebody who knows quality:)

    Enjoy OBT, GJP.

They say the proof is in the pudding and I just ate some sweet cake. Those bars are perfect and the bike fell to hand. Before I felt like I was gripping the bar when standing but now it fits just right.

Sorry to dissapoint you Boony but I did not take an after shot as after two weeks of perfect weather, 8-19 everyday, the deep mud was gone. Don’t get me wrong it was not dusty, just dark tacky goodness.

Any chance of taste test in September as will be up that way on a ride with some mates in the Coffs Harbour area for a weekend ride?

    Cheers

Ofcourse you can but you will have to invite me on the ride first.

No problem, rang some mate up in Coffs last week and told them to get there shit together and we with ride mid September will keep you post on the dates to come.

Not shall on details as of yet but by what I hear there is some big hill with rough terrain as well there all riding WR as well so the ornage bike will be out number as well.

    Dr D

That is because Coffs is a working mans town. None of that Euro exotica up here:laugh:

    Don’t tell TB but bourbon.

Maybe we can get an exchange program going. Beer for moonshine. I spend plenty of time on the road. We should meet up for a taste test.

    Too true Boondog

I have the babysitter organised for tomorrow afternoon. Guess what it is costing me, three bottles of homebrew.

That kinda links two of todays threads into one. The only other part of the deal was that the beers were consumed after i get the babay back!

I will post the before and after shots tomorrow. Fear not, she will be filthy:woohoo: the bike that is, not the babysitter:huh:

    Good onya Mate!

The key ingredient is love and the Coffs Coast water helps too.

Now you know what my neighbours know. There are plenty of bottles getting passed over the fence every weekend and it is the best currency going. I have a list of outstanding favours a mile long.

As far as the secret recipe goes, I could tell you but…………….

I am three deep, go another:)

Think I picked her up one night on the cans. Certainly knocked me outa gear.

I also got the Renthal button bend on the DRZ. The extra height ment I did not need to get bar risers.

Sounds like after last night you will only need one half of that Button bar Scotty. Which arm did you have to chew off this morning?

They are the same bars as I run and am very happy with the sweep and bend, didn’t say anything before because bars are such a personal thing, nice work STM oh and nice bling

Any word on the jumping outa gear, get onto that before it costs you big time

    TB

I spoke to a few dealers and they said it sounds like a dodgy dog. I am going to put it in the local Yami shop so that they can check it out.

After studying rises and sweeps I have my new setup. The Button bar as suggseted looked right but my bike has fat bar adapters on it so I took that into account and the Windham bar was a good match.

Compared to what I took off the bike I think it should be perfect. Sitting and standing on the bike stand it feels so right.

    IMG_0046.jpg

While I was at it I thought I should do the job properly and put some new pillow tops on and matching bar plugs.

    IMG_0045.jpg

    IMG_0044.jpg

TB and Menace have impressed me with their detailing so I got some matching gold bling just to top her off.

    Breather hose

And valve caps and rim locks
    IMG_0048.jpg

You can see the stance it has now
    IMG_0047.jpg

Now if I can just find a babysitter for a couple of hours I am going to go and muddier her up:woohoo:

If that is the case why would anyone buy it over the 450?
