Stuck on the Mid North Coast looking forward to possibly the tackiest weekend the Southern Hemisphere has ever seen. You are spoilt for choice and I will be very keen to read your report next week.

    Enjoy:)

Bit of useless information from me now in regards to the main topic in this thread..

For a business to run an employee it cost approximatly 89% more per hour than the employee doing the actual work takes home.

It has been touch on by many in this thread in the form of super, workers comp, etc, other things to be considered are depreciation of equipment used to fix our bikes, annual/leave for employees has to be paid for, staff training, public holidays, other leave, etc etc etc,

If i can supply any advise it would be to make sure youshop where you get bang for your buck

if what you are saying is correct boony at 70$ an hour rate the tradesman would get 7$ glad i don t work for you unless you charged 200$ an hour or more

    That would be 890% more

I had my rims relaced recently and got stung $66/hr only to be told after I took the rims back to get them re balanced, as they as wobbly to be told that the young guy doing a trial before getting an apprenticeship with the shop didn’t know they had to be balanced:angry:   . That poor kid would be lucky to see any of the $196 3hrs labour I paid to get both rims relaced. After 6 days at the shop in total the wheels still wobbled and I ended up taking it elsewhere to get it fixed.

    Hey Fez

    Where was this done?

The reason I ask is I am trying to work out which of the four shops in Coffs I should become loyal to as it does not necessarily have to be the Yami shop.

    Cheers

Karma for all your efforts Bull, also great to see all the kids there having a ball and the dads taking them out on the private property tracks well done ;)

    TB

And the thereI was thinking I am out on a quiet country road and some rally driver at full steam bears down on me:laugh:

Cheers for the directios, I was about to pull out my scribbled map but you pointed me the right way.

It was great to meet everyone today and I had a lot of fun on the ride. It flowed really well with no mechanicals and a pretty good pace, for me anyway:) I was a bit nervous heading out this morning as I have only had the bike since December after 20 years away from the sport but the ride was well led and well swept, the end I was at:laugh:

The terrain was awesome and Bull has an incredible spot and even with that much water the trails stood up to it well.

It was great to meet Bull, TB, Puddles and all the crew and a special mention to Mick from Micknmeld fame for introducing me to everyone and taking the time to show me around. You made me feel very welcome.

All in all it was a great day out on the bike and KTMBull, Bill and his family , deserves a massive pat on the back.

    Thanks again
