Menace won a $100 gift voucher donated by Sutto’s at Penrith for longest distance travelled to attend the ride
Is that photo of Menace so blurry because we are not meant to see the true identity of a Super Hero or were you just hammered Champo?
On the weekend I went to bleed my front brake using the TB method which makes a lot of sense to me as that is how I bled my MTB brakes as a little air in those small systems really affects performance.
Problem was that I noticed that one of the phillips head srews on the resevior is rounded out. I did not notice when I bought the bike second hand. I checked other threads, heads and they are all good but this on has me stuck.
Any advice on getting the little bugger out without causing damage?
Cheers

Mate, I had Jay do the suspension on my DRZ and it changed the bike completely. I have still not ridden a bike that was so well set up, as in able to take the big hits without bottoming but still plush and DRZ-line in the initial stroke! It cost me $650 including postage which is cheap as chips. That got me new springs front and rear with revalving. I just told him what I weigh, how I ride and what I wanted out of it.

That is really good value for both ends!

I forgot to say Thankyou too Boulder for cleaning my goggles at one of the corners. I think the most difficult aspect of the trip was not being able to see well most of the time. In fact I found out on the way back that the road that we initially headed off on (Wombeyan Caves Rd?) actually had some really severe drop offs over the side and I didn’t actually see that on Saturday morning. I didn’t realise that until Sunday afternoon and now I feel a little bit sick about how fast I was actually going along that road on Saturday morning. I had no idea. It wasn’t until the Sunday afternoon when DanD nearly ripped my head off telling me to stay away from the edges that I actually looked and went ‘Oh fiddlesticks!’. Scary stuff.[/quote]Goes to show what you can do when you are not concentrating on what could happen but only the job at hand.
There is a lesson in that for us all Kylie whether we are on the bike or not.
Thanks for reminding me:)
It came with the set when I bought it but the blue stock plastics were on it. The fuel tank is a bit bigger than stock without being too bulky which is good. The rest is just pure fashion.
That was meant be a bunch of different shots but something screwed up.
sorry about that.
I too saw a mysterious glowing orb in the sky but by the time I got outside to take a closer look it has dissapeared and it started to piss down again.
Enough already!

No one can even get into Bello and you post a report! Two can play that game. Stand by for the Northside report tomorrow afternoon.
I have just gotten back from the Woolgoolga pub and the RBT machine on the wall said that if I drove it would be at least a three year suspension!Bad weather and no riding equals a very naughty Hippo!

Welcome aboard Old Bloke
You will find this site a great network. Most of the Ratbags who would have jumped in and started heckling already are out on their bikes whilst everyone north of Newcastle is bunkered down weathering the storm.
Great day for tinkering with the toys and emptying some beer bottles.
