Go Girl!
My wife is very interested in my bike too. She always asks questions like
:Where are you going on that bike?
:How long will you be?
:Be Careful!Yep, she must really love it.
I am in for sure, hopefully it will have dried out a little by then.
I feel kind of responsible for all this rain after bragging that I never have to ride in dust. At the moment I can barely ride at all. Soo much water!
I used No Toil last weekend and it worked a treat. Obviously only cleans off it’s own oil but got my filter spotless without the stink or mess.
Do you boys steer clear of it for performance reasons or do you just love sucking vapours?
Bet Bill Clinton wishes he knew about diesel for getting the stains out!
Thanks to everyone for their advice. I cleaned mine up on the weekend and although the filter wasn’t that dirty as you say it is all about piece of mind.
I noticed preoiled filters in Super Cheap when I was buying some chain lube, outside bike shop hours as I try and make it a policy to support the local retailer, and wondered if the are any good. They use Maxima oil and were only $15.
I am happy with the cleaning routine you all suggested but if I got stuck and needed a qiuck fix away from home would you run one of these or are they and evil plot hatched by mechanics to keep them busy rebuilding top ends?

Hi Aarochild
I live on the Coffs Coast and would be keen to meet up for a ride. Once you have a date I can commit 100% but May sounds good. I have done a bit of riding on the Nth side of Coffs but not around Bellingen but I have heard good things.
This would be my first ride through the site so I am keen to meet some fellow Bulls. If anyone was keen to back it up with a ride on my side of town whilst up this way I would be more than happy to show you around.

Cheers Mick
I got the No Toil in the three prodcut pack so when I finish the cleaner I will take your advice.
Thanks again to the Bulls for their quick replies and good info.
This site rocks!

Cheers TB
I will give it a clean and a dunk tonight. I am using No Toil, is this stuff any good? Last time I oiled the filter it kept dripping through the drain hole.
Hey Bulls
I have been checking my filter after every ride and after 10 or so laps of my local 2 hour loop the filter is almost spotless. I mostly ride alone so I am not sucking in roost and my trails have never been dusty. If it looks clean is it clean or should I clean it more often whether it seems to need it or not?
Then it is on like Donkey Kong
You get up here, fuel that bike and sit back and enjoy a tour of my local. I would say eat my dust but we don’t have any:)
I look forward to it TB
I will show you some prime trails, put on a barbie and welcome you boys Nth coast style. Let me know when you are close to committing to dates and we can excahnge numbers.
Good call Mick although maybe Rudd can buy you some, he seems to love throwing away cash.

I had to have a dig as I have enjoyed the humour on this site and if I am going to throw one out there it may as well be at a legend of this site. You bring that bike to Coffs and we can get out there and do what we both love.

Cheers for the input Racy. We must have posted at the same time and you have answered my question.
In response to you Mick I would rather break both legs than blow another knee, seriously!
Cheers TB
I had read that thread after searching “knee brace” so as to be sure that I was not asking a question that had been answered. Very informative and well written review.
The only reason i am looking at POD is beacause I have a contra deal with a mate and if they are up to scratch I will go that way.
P.s With legs that big do you really need braces to hold your knees together. LOL
Cheers for the feedback.
I will grab a pair and consider them as much a part of my kit as my helmet is.
Glad I found this site!
