Getting smooth slow motion can seem like a black art so I put together a tutorial that I hope can help a few out.

Have a bad day TB?
Peaple are generaly good,,it’s just the odd ones, and they always have the most impact on us,,so it’s not personal, they probably treat every one that way.
If you let someone merge in traffic in front of you and they do not wave do you think
A: they suck
Or
B: I did a good deed and that is its own reward. You did a good thing Dickie, just happened it was a bad person. In my experience they are the exception, not the rule.

I am pretty anal with this one Jacko and i do it quite often. There are end cap seals on both sides so i just remove one end and face that up. That now eliminates most of the risk of dropping a needle. Get a bit of paper towel and some metho and roll your finger around inside. Remove it gently so as not to dislodge a needle. Replace that end seal turn it up the other way, remove the other one and repeat. Then get a finger full of blue grease and pack that bad boy. Reassemble and then tackle the other one in the same fashion. Get them so full of grease that you can only just put it all back together and torque it to spec.
Now ride through a North Coast bog hole in the knowledge that you are as protected as you can be.STM
Hey Boze
Different internal ratios will affect final gearing but I am a fan of 13 / 52. It gives low end snap and still allows a top speed of around 110 which is plenty for my terrain.STM
Nickj wrote:If its your Adv lid and had a solid hit I’d replace it for sure , higher speeds and the possibility of tar and hard pack dirt coming in contact with your melon it’s a no brainer ( pun intended !!)Trail lid would be a bit different for me as I’d have way more plant pots than plants by now
Nick
If Nickj recycled his lid into a pot plant every time he took a digger he would have his own segment on Gardening Australia
He does tend to ride above his comfort zone :laugh:STM
Welcome to the site Cocko.
You certainly qualify as an Old Bull mate and you will find plenty of like minded caracters on this site.
Looks of ADV stuff going on here recently so you will get plenty of good advice on which bikes are a good thing.
Enjoy OBTSTM
This is gold!

Sounds like you are on the right track Murph. A good tip to keep your pc running as quick as it can is to NOT keep files and folders on your desktop. Setup up shortcuts to folders if you like but keep all root files in your my documents folder or another that you set up. This will make a big difference to the speed of your computer and also its stability.
STM
I will be in.
