Can’t the two day license we have to buy allow us to ride which two days we choose as I suspect many will not plan on riding Sunday.

All the best on the recovery Snowy.
Like I mentioned in the ride report, I have been down this road during my time in the ski industry. Straight after surgery you just have to get back your range of movement as soon as possible. after that it is just time and you will be back to full power. No doubt you know the right people to sort that out
My thoughts are with you mate!STM
All the best Snowy for your recovery. If you heard it pop then they will rebuild it. I went through it on my left leg and it is all good now.

Welcome Dan
Your story is a common one around here mate so you will fit right in. You have many active members around your area so keep an eye out for upcoming rides.
Enjoy the site.STM
I got a quote from Australia Post to send my rear wheel to a Californian bike shop. Return freight would be $265.30. You can send it cheaper but that takes up to 8 weeks. Using the current exchange rate I found a Calfornian bike shop that fits tubes for free if you buy a tyre but charge $19.35 (aus ) to fit otherwise. They stock Bridgestone UHD tubes for $34.95 (aus ).
Total cost is $319.60 with a turn around of about three weeks.STM
So we have established that a good UHD tube is $45. Fitting quote was $25. That equals $70. If you want to dispute it then remove the wheel, remove the tube and get it checked out by the manager of the retailer that fitted it. Then refit it yourself.
And if it does turn out that it is above board then you have openly accused a site sponsor of ripping you off for a service that you can not buy overseas!STM
