I just spoke to EV and he is discharged from hospital and back at home. He will have a chance to get on at some point and give the full story but at least we know the surgery went well and now the healing begins.

I am going to drop by the hospital tomorrow and drop EV off a mag to kill some time if he has not already discharged himself. At least we know his bike will be fine, it was already f@#ked :pinch:

Macca just called me to let me know the latest on EV. He shattered his left wrist so badly that they had to add some bone to fill the gap. He had 5 hours of surgery today and they expect that he will have a full recovery but it will take a while. It is not a simple break. He will be in hospital for the next few days recovering from surgery. They say it could be six months but knowing EV he is probably already planning next months ride.

If you think it looks good in the pics you should have seen it in the flesh. The detail in the eagle was incredible and the size of it was massive.
Spud had it tied down to his bike trailer on the drive to Nickj’s place. I would live to hear the comments from passing drivers. :laugh:
