Glad to hear the Lantana and vines have been tamed though, love your work guys.
Rest easy mate, my Saturday morning loop will be a good challenge and your name is on that list. I will post the ride groups this week.

moto wrote:Insane dust will be better than the rain last year. It’s frickin dusty at the moment though, we haven’t had a decent downpour in months.Your right Moto. At least we won’t get blocked by swollen creeks and the singles are not very dusty. It is only the fire roads which you can hang back on.

Huge shout out to Nickj and Rob400 for spending the day cutting in some link trails to keep the groups apart. Nickj also lead his loop and he has that dialled. Now he just has to stay upright and he will be all good.
Happy with the tracks although the dozers have graded a few singles but that is life in a working forest. There is still heaps of primo singles to enjoy.
All the bookings are made and logistics are sorted. Now we just need a bit of rain in he lead up and it will be an epic weekend.STM
I had a bizarre experience with an iridium plug. I went to buy a replacement and the shop offered me the option of iridium at $25 dollars more ( so i bought it) and my bike hated it. It would miss and run rough so I stuck the old cheapie back in and it purred like a kitten. Maybe a dodgy one but I have since just gone the $6 one and had no issue.

Welcome to the site Wardy.
I lived in Queenscliff for 10 years but have since moved up to the Coffs Coast. I know Chris-T is in your neighbourhood and may be able hook something up. If you are keen to drive there is always plenty going on within two hours of you.Enjoy OBT

Hey Nato,
I did all my editing in the early days on Pc’s using Adobe products and they are very good. If you are happy with your PC and it can handle 1080p video then just gets Elements. If however you need new hardware as well just go a second hand iMac. They are great machines and don’t suffer the same cross compatibly issues that PC’s do. Give me a call if you want to discuss in detail.STM
Scotty wrote:Nato if you have a windows based PC then check out something like Adobe Premier Elements 11. This is supposed to be very similar to use to iMovie. Adobe usually do free trials.http://www.adobe.com/au/products/premiere-elements.html
or you could try Sony Vegas Pro.

If you’re not a Mac user than don’t go buy one just for iMovie as it’s really a very basic program with for cutting video together but both the programs above will also do that and have more editing features.
I’m a Mac user and currently using iMovie but I’m already looking for something better to edit videos. I can tell you all those awesome promotional videos put together by Gopro and other camera companies would not have been done on iMovie.
iMovie is designed to be simple and intuitive. Once you move on from that you use Final Cut Pro and Aftet Effects. I will bet my left ball that is what was used for the GoPro trailer.

All info will be updated on the first post so keep you eye on that for all ride details.

xy-transit wrote:did you see the tackers on the small wheel 50 sized ones in a drag down the main straight at the Island GP?looked like a hoot :woohoo:
 the 20″ pedal trials bike is only 600 less than the T12 and a couple a hundred less than the the T8.
are the peddle versions really worth that kind a coin STM??
They use some expensive metals and strength combined with lightweight does come at a price.

I was checking those out for Jesse. There is also a smaller one. I am pretty sure that’s the way I will go when he is done on his balance bike.

I was thinking more of Bark Hut onto Slaters Crossing then Tee Tree out to Sherwood Road.
Virtually the World Rally section Backwards.
We quite often do Pub With No Beer loop with about 80% dirt nice easy run for a cold beer and a good feed.
Sounds perfect mate! Great country through there with a great pub as the turn around point.
