Take them up Gentle Annie on the way out Maso
STM
This ride is staring to get some good momentum. It will be a great day out for all those bringing up their big bikes.

Just have to organise accomodation now.
As discussed with STM I am quite happy to help organise / Lead / Sweep as need be.
If there is no set route yet I can come up with a couple of options to see what everyone wants to do.
STM suggested going up through Old Gleninness Road to the top of Gibraltar Range
Another option might be a trip down to Pub with No Beer for lunch.
Just thoughts.
Good onya Maso!
Great to say your name on here. Your help will be invaluable and Nickj will be in touch to talk about possible routes. As for accommodation there is plenty of camping space at Darlington Beach and there always seems to be last minute spare beds in cabins.STM

Anyhow that frees me up for Coffs!!! :woohoo:
I probably will get up there, late Friday arvo, hopefully in time to get to the pub for dinner.
I will be riding Saturday and partaking in the Saturday night celebrations. :woohoo:
Highly unlikely that I will ride Sunday, going on past experiences
Leaving it late like I have sees me without a cabin space booked, so if anyone drops out or knows of a vacancy, I am happy to fill the void.
cheers
MickYour on the list mate. It will be good to catch up. Do you know if Moose is free that weekend?

Welcome back brother!
Can’t wait to get out there and help you with your riding
I don’t want to get in the way of you saving lives but you need to be in Coffs at the end of November!STM
Ride list is updated as is all other info on the first post. The Saturday adventure ride updates will continue in its own thread so keep an eye or post on that one if you are interested.
Cheers

Seems a shame not to stay Saturday night since you are around the coast for 10 days. There will be plenty of beds.

moto wrote:How do I get the movie files into iMovie? They are .MOV format but iMovie doesn’t recognise it. I cant drag and drop and when i try the ‘import’ feature it tries to download the file and then right at the end it says it can’t complete the operation???Starting to crack the shits with iMovie! It’s easy to use……..once you’ve pissed about making the files available. Do I need to save them as a different format?
.MOV files are difficult to work with on PC’s too so it is not just a Mac issue. They are a quicktime format that is used for final render not editing. Think of them as concrete, they are already set. You want sand, cement and water so you can manipulate the mix. Download the link I have attached here

and convert to a more usable format (MP4 etc)STM
Trailboss wrote:If it’s only a toy like you have said an if you’re not doing 1080 on your LCD massive tv I would but a HD hero the 1 they are dirt cheap. Home computer movies Youtube it will be more than impressive. Give it a rip from there and then if it’s your thing get a hero 3 when they are out and the price has settled next year.
The difference between it and the two itsnt huge glass lens , etc. All my stuff to date has been on a one and I like it so I have ordered a 3 when they hit our shore cause I want to take it to the next levelTB
Try and find a GoPro Hero like TB said and go from there. New or used you will get a good deal. The only way to kill a GoPro is to lose it so don’t be too concerned about buying second hand.

This is a really simple test you can do yourself and if you pass it your risk for many problems (not all) is massively reduced. Take an accurate measurement of your height and one around your waist. If your waist is equal to or less than half your height you are in the safe zone. If it is more than half you need to take action and get it there.
