I too am a big fan of the M12 front. I run them thin but then again I am on an MTB
S12 needs very soft ground or it starts to roll the knobs. M12 front, S12 rear :woohoo:STM

I will leave you on the list until you tell me you will definitely not be riding. It would not be the same without you and TB heckling on the trail.

Pure gold Scotty!
I particularly like the tree mount.
After my second Olympus tough has died do you recommend the Nikon? If you give it the thumbs up I will grab one this weekend.STM
micknmeld wrote:I have had trouble commiting to this ride, I will know for sure after this weekend. It all depends on how my daughter goes in a competition in Sydney on Saturday. If she goes well, I will have to be back in Sydney on the Coffs weekend. You must feel bad cheering for the other team

Great variety of camera angles Scotty.
Nice one.STM
I have updated the rider list on the first post and we are up to 32. Thank you to everyone who has filled out the template. I have loaded it into an excel spreadsheet and it makes organising things very easy as I can sort on days or meals and book numbers for shuttle buses etc. If you know someone who is planning on coming or is sharing a cabin and is not on the list, can you prompt them to send back the template so that I can add them to the list.
Cheers

Jeffro wrote:I used the camera they gave me for use at work when I do my inspectionsIt’s an Olympus Tough, they are shock proof to a couple of meters for a drop and waterproof to about 10 meters.
I was really happy with the way I tied that section in together, it seemed to flow really well I thought.
I agree completely mate. The shots of you approaching and riding away from the Olympus meshed perfectly with the GoPro footage.

I am lovin those alternate angles. I noticed your GoPro was still attached so you were using a second camera. Unlike the GoPro the camera you used had an auto focus rather than a fixed aperture which searched for focus as you rode through the shot and gave a great effect. What were you using as a second camera?STM

Got my people working on starting a franchise deal as we speak Scott slow progress but as they are all drunks at Rum Soaked Studios  A north coast franchise will be in the mix if you can organise the startup capital. Can’t promise anything of course it is business mate but I can put a word in for you seeing how you have been there since the start
Thanks for your help and tips while I have been learning the editing Scott
TB
Glad I can help mate. The results are good to watch and I know first gnats how addictive it becomes once you get a handle on it.
Regarding the business proposition, I am willing to invest all the cash I have made through moderating this site to help the North Coast launch. :laugh:STM
Slick edit TB!
I can see Run Soaked Studios going global :laugh:STM
Happy Birthday Mate!
I look forward to another year riding with you.STM
Wow!!!
Looks like someone worked their Mac out eh.
My wife watched it twice and that is rare.STM
As Razzle mentioned, three editions. The ‘White’ is the same spec as the original HD but in a smaller body, the ‘Silver’ is the Hero2 is the smaller shell and the ‘Black’ is the brand new all bells and whistles. It has everything I suspected it would except for optical stabilisation. That has to be the next step as these cameras live in environments where vibration and movement is an issue.
