Just wait till they flog the current model cheap and get that mate. You will save some money and the performance is more than enough.

Great report boys and quality edit Nick.
That was a big hit you took! As for the Hobbit, he is definitely more stylish on the big than he is off it 😆STM

I wanna see it again.
  Hey I will
Just as soon as you even attempt the widow maker on your 650. A decent attempt as well not like your start at the 4 hr years ago  I may even change my sign on to tumble boss for a period if you have a go this Coffs ride and stop the excuses
So to answer your question, I am game to post it if your game to attempt it

This feels like the good old days. A four way heckle amongst admin
Maybe it is time to open the Coffs ride banter thread. That is always good fun!

I was chatting to a mate the other day about doing the same sort of thing with a few cameras.
You’re great at the editing STM … I like the idea of a multiple camera ride one day, then a single edit to put it all together maybe??
Yeah, that’s what I am working towards. Nickj and I had been disussing something similar to Mal. With so many cameras and so many mounting options the possibilities are infinite. Even better is that the process brings together three of my favourite toys. A 250 four stroke, a GoPro and a fully optioned iMac.
Not to mention the beer required for editingSTM

Nickj wrote:With all the GoPro gear selling cheap makes you wonder if a new model is getting near ??Time to lose the Hero 2 in the bush this weekend STM and get ready for the Hero3?4?5?!!!!
Nick
I plan to lose this one in the ocean mate a day after the new one is released. It is the only way I get a sympathy purchase guilt free
My guess is when the next one is released it will have an image stabiliser built in. That will keep GoPro in front of the pack plus they will make wifi standard.STM
There is a good mid capacity shootout in the latest ADB which rates the Husky.

moto wrote:Can anyone confirm of the GoPro can be mounted 90 degrees out of horizontal. I know it canphysically be mounted this way but does the lens correct for new orientation? I don’t think it does but I’d like to try and confirm either way.It can be set upside down in the menu but not 90. You can rotate it in most editing programs so it can be done. IMovie let’s you rotate and crop so that you can compensate for the windscreen. As you will be cropping shoot in full res so as not to lose quality.

I got some of those anti fog pads so it will be interesting if they work. I am mostly using the skeleton back cover on the bike but that is not to go in the surf
