Three bits of advice though when you hit the anchors bigtime grip the seat hard with your nuts first, second just for shits and giggles open it up a few times and watch the front wheel climbfor the sky and last get on the tightest single track you can find and give it to it it fkn brilliant!I put an oversize front rotor kit on mine so I am sure it will stop pretty good. I am coming off a 250 so the weight loss won’t be as noticeable but it all helps. I am very impressed with the build quality. I stripped it down to lube some parts but I need not have bothered as the factory had done a very good job. I checked torque settings before I inside things and they were all bang on. I had my Yami very dialled so it will be a good first test for The 250x. I am glad to hear you are so stoked Snowy. Yours is the identical model to mine.

Nice one Snowy,
I have my first real hit out tomorrow and after a 10 km break in at Nickj’s place I am very excited to ride it on home turf!!!

Quite antagonistic I thought 👿
4 stroke riders are not offended mate. They are comfortable with their decision.

I work closely with a few production companies and they have done their own testing and they all use GoPro’s.

Hi Burnsy and welcome to the site.
I live just north of Woopi and get out most weekends. Keep your eye on the site and you will find some great rides and a good bunch of blokes.

The US and AUS versions are identical. The Pal or Ntsc conversion is in the settings. The freight charge is around 50 bucks so try a site sponsor like Suttos or Rock Motorcycles first.

ADR gear stripped and ready to go.

I will book first thing in the morning.

How was the oil when ya dropped it? No filings or anything? 1st service on my wr250f a few years back found a suprising amount of filings in it.
The filters had some tiny specs but nothing alarming.

Could probably do with one of those nice Stainless steel Filter Jobs – heard they are going cheap

The one I got off you for the WR served me well. My experience says they are a good thing and then I hear stories about the paper ones doing a better job. I’m confused which way to go on the new bike.
moto wrote:Scotty, you might want to run the cord with a little more slack so you can stick it to your helmet. With the current way it’s set-up you have a big hole a branch or lantana can poke through and pull your head off! If you ran the cord taped to the helmet and a loose zip tie around the cord where it’s next to the camera base you would reduce the chances of it getting snagged.Good idea though, you don’t want to be losing HD camera’s every couple of months!
What video editing software do you run on the Mac?
iMovie is preinstalled and is a great basic editor.

GoPro all the way mate. They have become industry standard among sport film makers for good reason. Get the motorsports edition and you have everything you need to start. It is then a matter of working out which view you enjoy the most. I compiled the most common mount points and put a comparison together that may help you.
