Now I think about it I do a mix of both.
If it is any consolation that is a very clean break, well away from a joint and it looks like your surgeon did a good job.
    Solid hardware!!!

    Get well soon mate.

Word in the stree is the cabins are all gone ! that was quick! ;)

    Wow!!!
That was 18 cabins booked in just over 1 day. Keep in mind for an additional $15 per night they will sleep a 5th and there are unlimited camping sites so there are options.

STM ive got a 12 berg 390 and the more i ride it the more i like it
came off 200 exc which are awsome bikes
expecting it to feel lot bigger and heaver to ride but supprised how well
it turns and feels when riding
they do feel heavy to lift and push around but i think anything
would when your used to a 200
they seem to get plenty of traction
    awsome frontend feels realy planted
thats my 2 bobs worth anyway
    cheers

    Good feedback Fordy.
The weight was a concern as they are a solid bike but if it feels nimble on the trail after coming off a 200 banger then that says a lot about the design.

If ya keen STM I would jump on soon as rumor has it the 70 degree engine is being discontinued to become part of dirt bike history that the likes of Moto will tell his grandchildren about.

Even second hand ones may be hard to pick up with some current owners reluctant to part with them.

It’s a shame as it was good to see at least one manufacturer who was prepared to think outside the square.

Your right mate. Not only is the 70 degree gone in 2013 but the 390 becomes a 350 so it will be a blue KTM.

New 12 Model gasgas is about 40 mm taller in the seat. I have a mate who has the 10 model GG Nambotin and he is 6’4 and and fits nicely in it. He may have bar raisers but that is it. Has KTM/Berg fixed the starter motor issue yet ?

You mention about not getting ripped off by Mr Leisk in an earlier post but I am starting to think you are on a Gas Gas commission. If not you are the sort of one eyed rider that MC Chronic likes to compose tracks about.

I had planned to open the thread in August but due to the resort availability we have to move now or the cabins will book out.
I don’t need to know who is booking and I am not going to post a list up for a while yet but if you are keen for a cabin you will need to book soon. There are plenty of powered and unpowered camp sites so if you are happy to camp then no rush. For those that want the legendary comfort of a Darlington Beach Resort cabin then you need to act.
The weekend is November 24th and 25th so if you want to extend your stay just let them know when you book.
This will be the OBT Xmas party but for those that are bringing motorcycles with them I am sure you can find plenty of good riding in the adjacent country roads and forests. Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday morning would probably be good times to ride. You are all registered and licensed so it is up to you. We can talk about that when you are up here and I can point you in the right direction if you wish.
To book a cabin you need to call Rosie on 02 6640 7407 and let her know you are an Old Bull. You have to speak to Rosie so if she is not around just leave a message or try again later. The room rate has been arranged at 4 people per cabin and $100 a night. $25 a night is a brilliant deal for this place. Breakfast will also be organised on the Saturday morning but I will get the numbers for that later. It will be a full buffet for $16 per head.
There will be an organised adventure ride taking in the sites of the region on public roads that will be put together by Nickj and lead by Eagle and swept by a local with excellent knowledge so if you want to ride up and enjoy some of the North Coasts finest adventure riding you will be catered for.
    Book soon or camp.
