i doubt it is something you can accidentally get wrong, unless you have double vision or are colour blind, vision impaired etc etc.

Pick me for that one xy-transit as I am guilty of taking from TB due to putting pointer on red thumb(not knowing what it was) and reading it as smile not smite:blush:

I have a 661 but being a fatty I find it very hard to get zipped up due to it being on the side and my gut getting in the way of trying to find where to start from:blush: . I had wanted to get one from moot but when I rang the girls they were on holidays and the boss(wife) wouldn’t let me ride until I had armour so settled for 661.

I am a ceramic tiler who decided it was time for a change after a bike accident in 2000 and did some delivery work and some disability support work looking after a young bloke with autism for the last 3 and half years, but due to constant harassement from a staff member who had management wrapped around her finger have left that and had no luck so far finding a job so have gone back to my trade and ache so bad everynight:ohmy: but am enjoying the trade again (for now anyway:blink: )

Looks like hard work fellas, first 3klms probably would have been the end of my day:laugh: I got left laying in agony beside the track last week when I had a ride and had to make a solo ride back to the car with my tail between my legs on stuff not as bad as that:blush:

I just lost an incy wincy bit of weight from actually getting out and doing some riding recently. I’d be on the weights to but after my crash a few weeks ago when I hurt my ribs/knee I can’t do them.

I feel better for having lost the tiny bit that I have though. Now I want to get to the weights to take advantage of my recent positive attitude towards it.

When you’re in the mood do extra if you can (providing you’re not risking injury) :)

Yeah I am back on the weights and trying to do 30min a day on exercise bike, although I have no choice now as I have to go back to manual labour workwise:blink: which will probably help take it off anyway;)

Good work, you will feel better for it I reckon. I STILL need to get going on this myself, although have been through the fat to fit transition before and it’s great when you get there :)

Just start off slow and easy, especially with anything effecting the movement of your shoulder. Lastly………bloody good luck to you!!

I agree Moto it is great ………….. not so great if you let it go again though:( ……… I went through the pain in 2005 to get from 98kg to 72kg but alas back to 99kg and far from fit enough for riding.

As Moto said Husky good luck and don’t push and do more damage. I am trying to get fired back up here as well so one day we might be legends on the trails;)(in my dreams:blink: ) .

i’ll leave Wonda’s alone for a minute and aim this one directly at TB……

    A BEER BEFORE IT STARTS

TB came home from work, sat down in his favorite chair, turned on the TV, and said to his Selina, “Quick, bring me a beer before it starts.”
She looked a little puzzled, but brought him a beer. He skolled it and said, “Quick, bring me another beer. It’s gonna start.”
This time she looked a little angry, but brought him a beer. When it was gone, he said, “Quick Honey, another beer, it’s gonna start any second.”
“That’s it!” Selina blows her top, “You bastard! You waltz in here, flop your fat ass down, don’t even say hello to me and then expect me to run around like your slave. Don’t you realize that I cook and clean and wash and iron all day long?”
TB sighed. “Oh shit, it’s started.

    😆 :cheer: :cheer: 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆

    i kill myself sometimes…..lol…

I found this one but figured I better page surf to make sure its not here ………… which it is sort of:dry:, oh well :silly: .

Huski610………. My DRZ400 felt a bit the same but I havent made any suspension adjustments since new. There is a good thread preparation tips titled Setting your suspension sag may be worth a look. I’m going to do that as soon as I clean the bike. Firstly I’ve got to walk properly because I think I’m in more pain today than yesterday.

    Gotowo

Mate one thing for sure, if your NOT fit when you decide to go back riding..It Hurts heaps!! I done a couple of those long day rides now and I still feel it big time. Best cure, believe it or not, is get on the bike and go for a ride over a local track. do some stand up sit down kinda of things and you’ll free up abit.I stood n the Wind and rain Yesterday and cleaned my bike.>Well washed it off would be a beter description for it. I have some numbers here for setting sag, I’ll get into it when the rain goes.

Yeah not being fit isn’t a lot of fun:huh: and after seeing this pic taken by gotowo I now know I really am not fit  .
    2PetersandNick.jpg
As for cleaning bike I have been so busy at work since that mine still looks as is……the most I have done is take air filter out and see how it went as I was still running the readyfilter. This weekend will be clean up time if it stops raining:blink: . Ok as I am posting and I have some pics here that gotowo sent me I will put them up for him as he had some troubles.

The reason I have any idea of how to turn a computer on is from when I had my accident in 2000. The missus was into chat rooms on icq at the time (probably trolling for a new bloke :laugh:or:( not sure which) so as anything else was impossible for me I decided to join in. Eventually led to being made a room operator by owners of rooms and then to our own room and finally owning a trivia room. Back then we had 4hr dial up and I had to set an alarm to wake up and reset internet and put trivia bot back in the room. That was a time that could easily have made me drink and smoke 24/7:blink: as it was such a thankless task:S, so all I can say guys is keep your stinking job its all yours:laugh: and thankyou for the job you do;)

Good to hear you enjoyed the day Gotowo, hope the trip home was ok as we were watching a lot of traffic heading south with you. Poor old husky610 had to put up with me sneezing and sniffling all the way home as I think all the dust kicked in:S . His shoulder was definately feeling it when we got back:( . I thought I would fix this pic for you Husky it was just missing something:blush:.

The photo’s of the trees..this is the canopy that Sirdropalot was talking about. not 200 meters before this, the track was very closed in, the trees looked like something out of ” Lord of the Rings” with all of them growing Long tuffts of Moss..Was very similar to some valley’s in the nth qld tablelands. In fact a fair amount of this area reminded of the Atherton area.

Yeah that shows the canopy better…..thanks Husky610:) . I agree about the landscape I spent a month working on a dairy farm which backed onto the rainforests up at Atherton and was very much like what we seen yesterday……..in fact if we were riding today with the rain it would be an Atherton exact replica:cheer:.

Some pics of the day we were never riding when the cameras come out so just pics of the scenery, which there was plenty of.

Our first stop was at an old fire tower and the view from there was a complete 360 degree view into the distance.
    amamoor005.jpg
    amamoor006.jpg
A little further along the track Mike’s forks let their oil out bringing his day to an end:(
    amamoor007.jpg
Took the chance to get a photo of the lads and the track we had come down while Mike tried to fix.
    amamoor009.jpg
    amamoor008.jpg
We didn’t have tools to do a fix so Mike head back to car while the rest of us finished the loop. Back to cars for lunch to find Mike loaded up and his day done:( .
    amamoor010.jpg
Second loop had me picking up what looked like half a sheep in my rear sprocket:dry:.
    amamoor011.jpg
Another spot where the view was amazing so stopped for pics.
    amamoor014.jpg
    amamoor012.jpg
    amamoor013.jpg
Rode into a heavily canopied area so stopped for pic although it doesn’t show how enclosed we really were:(.
    amamoor015.jpg
Climbed up a quite ugly hill with lots of rocks, ruts and as Husky610 discovered logs to avoid and discovered some ‘pebbles’ laying around.
    amamoor016.jpg
    amamoor019.jpg
Gotowo and Husky610 climbed up on one to contemplate the world as we know it(and to get a good look at the view;) ).
    amamoor018.jpg
    amamoor021.jpg
Standing on a ‘pebble’ looking down on the track, little did we know that just out of sight was a rutted downhill from hell which was to be Gotowo’s enemy of the day:S .
    amamoor024.jpg
And finally a pic of bikes parked on one of those can’t see a lot grass tracks:) .
    amamoor023.jpg
Next time we will have to try and get some action pics:side:
Again apologies for blue tinge pics camera seems to do what it wants as I never changed settings but last lot of pics were fine:S .
Excellent day, excellent blokes to ride with and can’t wait for more exploring there or anywhere in the future:) .
