Ha Ha we’er comedians but have my name on some tracks would be cool
The drinking skills I’ve got down to a fine art but still practice make perfect, it’s only the riding skills that still need polishing. Chad really knows his stuff all the preload was done on the bench only had to bolt it all back together put my arse on the saet and go. Would recomend him to anyone.
Perelli Scorpian, the guy at the bike shop recommended it as he runs it on his crf and reckons they work well. Will give all the new gear a run on Sunday to see how it all feels.
Wont commit yet as it is only a couple of weeks after the snow ride, will stick it in the calender though. Putting the Dr back together tomorrow after getting the shocks and forks done $550 for the lot,a bargin I reckon. Also puttin a new piece of rubber on the back.
The Dr all stripped downn awaiting the return of the forks and shock ready for tomorrows rebiuld. New rubber lying in wait to go on. Hopefully it’ll give more traction on the snow ride
The thought of both turns my gut and thats a lot of turning in my case.
Fully agree waffles are waffles and can’t be replaced. First time I’ve heard of this being done.
Nothing worse than soggy bread.sounds like a good project for RDO Friday. Thanks for the help.
where did you mount the nipple. I have the taps to do this and would be good to do while I have it all apart
Forks and shock went into Chads tonight for the respring, revalve & service. Pick them up on Friday morning so should be riding by the weekend. He advised me that seeing that
I have it striped down so far to dismantle the stem bearings and give them a good clean & regrease as a new set of bearings goes for around $120 plus any other damage that may occure. Sounds like good advice as he stated that it is something that is generally overlooked.Went for a ride on Saturday with a great bunch of blokes. Drove into the bush and got ready to ride. Followed the guys onto the trails rode for a bit and felt tired so I layed down for a little while (must have been the bottle of Jimmy on friday night).Followed the bike in front and climbed up and down some hills. Felt tired again so I layed down for a while again. Rode across the road into some goat tracks and climbed more hill, found a tree root half way up one and could not go up or down so decided to have a rest again until help arrived. Thanks choppa and Gob for the pull and push over the offending root. Rode back to the cars for lunch a good move I thought. Had to laeve for family duties unfortunately. Got home got on the grog and then recieved an SOS about a missing set of keys drove back down the highway to meet with the crew again. Did some bench racing on the side of the highway. Had a great morning ride. MEMO to myself don’t drink a bottle of Jimmy the night before a ride.

I’m amazed by the deathly silence so far, but I’m sure something will come eventually
Hey Choppa, was he checking for the keys in that hole as well
Come on Menace there must be a comment somewhere in their, I’d like to know you coped the blame for the set of keys. Let the air be cleared.
Sorry I couldn’t stay for the afternoon sesion but the mornig was great. Well organised JAK, a greatride at Paddy’s that I’ll be going back to. Can’t wait for the video to see the now famous bog hole roosting. I bet the cameras couldn’t be brought out quickly enough. I didn’t see anyone jumping in to help.
