This has been on the cards for a while, I think there has been discussions with Geelong 4 x 4 club about the amount of damage that is deing done. Unfortunatly from what Ive seen it more 4×4 damage to tracks than bike damage so it looks like we all suffer. Go to you tube and type in paddy’s swamp or Geelong 4×4 and you will see how deep some of these cars get bogged and some of the real damage.

Sorry I couldn’t make it sounds like fun was had by all, woke up at 8.45 so decided I would load up and meet for the afternoon session but a few mates arrived and the rest is history that I am still trying to remember.
Some of those hills look familiar from the week before so I know how buggered you must have been pushing more bikes up them.

got a 21st to go to friday night so it could be big (ummm free piss all night until it comes out the ears and a taxi home what a bonus)so will probably only have half a dip in the grog pit on Saturday(already started tonight for a practice session). I know the meeting place and the time so I’m still a chance. Someone has to provide the entertainment with different styles of hitting the turf so it would be pretty boring without me. Fall down and stay down they generally say to us old blokes but I say stuff it get up and have a go until I can’t go any futher.

Cant do this sunday as the missus is in India so the weekend is going to be pretty wasted with no one around to control where what & why I do anything. Could finish up anywhere if I loose control as I plan to

have to be a steel reinforced unit to get my rotund guts and bike up those hills. A trip down to Airies inlet pub for lunch could be a good move for a break off the trails

I’m up for when ever providing it doesnt go pear shaped like last Sunday, although my hill climbing ability probably didn’t help, perhaps a map would have helped as well. I’ll try to get so practice in before hand

Had a great day although the body is suffering and stiffening up now.Had a couple of lay downs to get some energy back as both myself & Pete were sapped of stamina & energy. Made it up most hills but got stumped on a couple of others. Things started to go down hill after the bog in the creek crossing. Jak kept saying it was only about a K back to the cars but it would have to be the longest and slowest K I have ridden

Thanks to Jak for helping me out again & getting the bike up that last hill doing the walk of shame still sapped the last bit of energy I had left

Looks like just the two of us on Sunday, you can lead and I’ll sweep then we can swap around for a change of scenery. Don’t forget daylight saving wouldn’t want one of us to be early or late.Don’t know about next weekend as the missus is in India for nine days so it could be a weekend of distruction.

Sunday would be the better day for me as I forgot about a promise I made the other week. She who must be obeyed promptly reminded me. Just changing the tyres over now.
