oops missed the bit about 302, at least Ill be able to claim you ride light years better because of the extra 52 cc. Didnt realise Boony Rick and I were scaring you that much that you had to buy and extra few horses :P

Shame you couldnt come we found any number of creeks you could have swum your bike in. The new link will join all back creek, ronnies pines singles, harris rd and the original native singles into the new stuff and old pines, roughly 60-70 km loop of single trail.

Ill leave that pleasure for them to show and tell!

It may have been wet but it was a great weekend. Boony and I headed up early saturday morning hoping the weather in the high country may have been better than in Tamworth – it wasnt. We geared up and I trialed duded trademark garbage bag for extra protection and it worked well thanks dude. We headed into the pines on a mission to find a link between some singles but abandonded most after hitting swamps or masses of down trees, some may be more attractive when we can see through the waterfalls running off our helmets. We headed back to the cabin to meet Damo who hsd manned up and joined us. After a hearty lunch we headed out into the orange slippery clay of the south end of the forrest and in memory of Krusties get off last year we spent a fair bit of time trying to find a way around the 4wd made bottomless holes in the main tracks and ended up with a great grassy trail and some native single that includes a water trap and a washed out bridge for interest.

Saturday night the rain really set in and we sat back in the cabin with a warm fire and drank in moderation till bed time. Woken up at 4am by a wombat sized possum who had raided our esky and drunk the best part of teo cartons and left the empties piled up on the window sill and kitchen bench. No wonder he was staggering around the rafters.

Sunday morning saw Damus arrive so trail cutting was abandoned and a run around the singles at the cabin made for some bloody good fun. All four bikes seperated by the space for the roost zone and thats all for 15 km of high speed native single. After Damo left at lunch we headed out to start a new trail designed to complete amassive singles loop sure to please. The new trail has been named leech city and anyone that falls off on it will find out why. The first third is complete and the second third scouted out, it will include a truly bizare feature even for our standards. Being low on blood we called it a day and returned to the cabin and called it a day after the traditional visit to the dungowan pub. Bloody good weekend thanks Boony, Damo and Damus

PS watch out for Damus and Polly on the next rides their on both have upgraded their tractors.
